Hi guys did my mock test B today. Reading talaga problem ko. Malapit na yung exam ko so worried na talaga ako.

Question guys sa mga umulit ng PTE is it true na mejo humirap na ung exam lalo na ung mga graph? natanong ko lang kasi ung mga group ko na indians na nakasabay ko nun nagretake daw sila ang they noticed mas humirap daw.. sa malaysia po ito ah im asking kung same din sa philippines po? thanks po sa mga makakapagadvise

@lucid2010 Sa recent experience ko hinde namn sya humirap totoo sabi ni @Blackmamba -2 bar graph, isang line graph, isang pie chart, isang process at isang combination ang saaken dame kay mas nkaka tense,,pero same approach padin sir.. sa listening part highlight best summary ko video sya nde prompt - bago yun saaken nde ko alam kung matagl n yun..

@JDpaz, sa na experience ko po, mas madali reading ng actual PTE compared sa Mock Test kaya no need to worry. Basta po kelangan nyo lng ma familiarize yung academic colloc. 🙂

@lucid2010, yup, mejo naging mahirap ng onti yung sa describe image. Mas dumami yung image at processes.

Got my scores today on my 2nd PTE-A:

(L:71|R:77|W:77|S:82)

Haha, isa lang na superior ko which is yung speaking, THAT'S FINE bawi na lang ulit sa susunod. Haha. Kaya nten to.

Isa lang masasabi ko, work out on your speaking scores guys, it would greatly affect other communicative scores! Just check my scores in my signature I'm a living testimony. Haha. Dati nag wonder ako di ako maka abot ng 70+ sa 4 na communicative skills pero nung na superior ko speaking, the 3 other follows! Good luck and GODbless to all. I can share some tips sa speaking in case na need nyo.

Note:

Nagskip ako ng isa sa repeat sentence. haha. Tpos 5 ata yung puro adlib na hndi ko alam kung related sa dapat irepeat, not sure kung isa yun sa nag impact sa listening ko. haha.

Excited ulit ako mag take ng exam, parang nag eenjoy eh no, pera lang tlga ksi kalaban nten. Pero don't worry, the LORD will provide. 🙂

bro, @Heprex haha, thanks sa congrats pero need ko superior for 190 visa para maka 65 points, pero kung mag 489 nman ako, saktong 60 pointer na ako ngayon since proficient. haha. Mag research pa ko kung mag aim pa ko for superior or go with the 489 visa. Not sure ksi sa trend ngayon kung maiinvite ako sa 190 with 65 points including na doon yung PTE superior mark bka ksi maging useless. Anyway, thanks sa tips mo bro especially sa speaking, big help sya sameng lahat. GODbless bro.

guys i wanna thank everyone here na nag share ng experiences nila at tips. sobrang laking tulong... im also a living proof na never say die sa PTE exam... di ko man na reach pa ang superior, at least pwede na makapagpa-assess na ko sa CPAA:

1st: IELTS - not passed

2nd (7/17/2017): PTE - L/R/S/W - 61/70/51/70

3rd (8/19/2017): PTE - L/R/S/W - 67/71/61/79

4th (9/21/2017): PTE - L/R/S/W - 68/75/61/73

5th (10/24/2017): PTE - L/R/S/W - 71/73/74/68 (65pts requirements sa CPAA)

Nagdilang anghel si kuya guard kahapon eh.. papasa na daw ako... sana di na daw nya ko makita ulit.

Kaya keep on pushing lang and pray... Good luck everyone 🙂

@babyboo, @shobskie 7 mabibigay kong tips to improve your score sa speaking, this is just based on my personal assessment (you can check my signature and doon makikita mo struggle ako makakuha ng 70+ sa lahat ng communication skills lalo na sa speaking na lately ko lang na figured out kung anong strategy ang mag work saken):

Pray always!
Kung kaya mabilis ang pacing nang pagsasalita at naiintindihan ng dictation.io yung pino pronounce na words, GO FOR IT!
Kung kaya mabilis ang pagsasalita pero hndi na tatranscribe ni dictaion.io ng 80% and up yung sinasabi, better focus on what pacing ng pagsasalita na correctly transcribed ng dictation.io and be sure to be consistent sa lahat ng speaking parts.
(This what works for me and not sure kung effective sa iba at sa mga babae) Bilugin ang boses, I mean ang gnawa ko parang bass sa choir ang pag read aloud, DI, retell, etc.
Alisin ang hiya-hiya, haha, i execute sa actual exam kung anong strategy ang nag wowork sayo na natry mo sa Mock Exam.
FOLLOW TRAFFIC LIGHTS! Huminto sa comma, and periods.
Wag mag focus sa sasabihin, hindi alam ng computer na pinapa ikot-ikot mo sya. Ang mahalaga continous sinasabi mo.

Additional tip:

Bago mag actual exam, if budget permits, try nyo bumili ng PTE Gold Kit at itry i execute yung mga strategies plano nyong gawin sa actual PTE sa pagbabasa including yung templates na gagamitin. If maka 70+ points kayo dun, expect nyo na 85% possibility na maka superior kayo sa actual. Actually, mali yung 1st take ko sa PTE ksi di ko ginawa yung mga sinasabi ko na to, ang resulta 60 lang speaking ko. 😃
