This forum helped me a lot in cracking my PTE. I have tried 6th times already, pero lagi ako bumabgsak sa speaking. Until I came to know about this forum, I started reading and going through all the tips and ideas on how to get the required score. On my 7th attempt, ginamit ko yung template for describe image and retell lecture and with God’s help, nakuha ko din finally. I would like to thank everyone na nag eeffort mag share ng tips para makatulong sa iba. Kudos po sa inyong lahat, di ko na kayo maiisa isa. You will be rewarded by God for helping others. Salamat po ulit sa lahat at good luck sa ating lahat. Hopefully, lahat tayo makapunta sa Aus soon.

May tanong po ako..what if 65 ung overall score pero may 63 na isa dun sa apat na categories, meron po bang consideration un?

@maujet1102133 based sa nababasa ko dati, no chance po. irrun lang ulit nila sa software nila. sa pag kakatanda ko, dalawang beses na nirun yung exam mo sa software before irelease ang result.

PTE Academic is automatically rescored; therefore, it is unlikely that your overall scores will change.
Only spoken responses and open-ended written responses are rescored.
In the unlikely event that your score changes, it may go up or down.
If your score changes, it will replace your previous score.

Kaya sabi nga ni @Heprex , baka hindi na mabago yung score kasi sa same software lang nila ipapasok ulit yung test. Mas ok na pang dagdag mo na lang sa next exam yung gagastusin kaysa sa gamitin pang rescore.

Hi guys, I just took a mock exam today and I want to ask if the result of it can be somehow reflection of the scores that you can get on the actual exam? Also, in the essay part, ilan ang space na ginawa niyo in-between of the paragraphs?

@xter28, possible pero not that 100% accurate since may mga factors na nkaka affect sa scoring ng mock like sa speaking yung gamit mong headset and test environment nung nag test ka ska kung may problem audio jack ng laptop /pc mo na nagpoproduce ng wheezing sounds, etc. Additionally, yung reading sa actual exam parang slightly easy compared sa mock kaya may possibility na tumaas score mo sa actual. HTH!

@Diana__Jane minsan nakukuha sa practice. During actual exam mabilis lang ang transition ng time. Practice is the key. Based on my experience, the actual exam is easier than the ones seen on youtube/online

@xter28 Hello po, for essay, I used E2 language format po and applying what I learned from Ielts. Sa intro, sa 1st sentence ni restate ko lang yung question using my own words. Then sa 2nd sentence if one sided lang yung question, I give summary of the reasons ( 2 reasons only). Example, if ang essay is about importance of computers (one sided), eto 2nd sentence ko. Computers are valuable resources as they (1st reason) aid in learning and are (2nd reason) used to communicate with others. Then sa 3rd sentence sasabihin ko para pampahaba-- In this essay, I shall discuss my point if view by giving points and examples about the topic.

Then sa 2nd paragraph, elaborate ko na ang 1St reason. Mga 2 sentences na magsupport sa 1st reason. Tapos sa 3rd sentence example. Pwede ka din mag add pa ng 4th sentence parang isummarize mo lang ang 2nd paaragraph.

Sa 3rd paragraph discuss naman ang 3rd reason same sa ginawa sa 2nd par.

4Th paragraph 1st sentence conclusion, then 2nd sentence recommendation.

If 2 sided naman yung intro pwede mo gamitin yung nasa template like kina Heprex na samples. Then yung 2nd par yung kabilang side, then yubg 3rd paragraph yung other side. Tapos same last paragraph.

If medyo nahihirapan ka sa mga ideas, research ka dito sa forum ng mga recent topics. Tapos based dun sa topic reasearch ka anong pwedeng maging points and reasons para may idea ka ano ilalagay mo sa essay.
