Hello @ray1188 pa-share naman ng tips mo for getting 90 sa speaking.. basta ba spontaneous lang sa describe image and re-tell lecture?

@angelaira hello, usually dapat spontaneous speaking with good content and pronunciation ang key. Dpat mabilis ka magbasa at maayos ung pagkakadeliver 🙂 usually practice ako lalo na sa describe image saka repeat sentence kung saan mahina ako dati.

meron na din akong results sa exam kahapon, kinulang ng 5 points iyong listening ko, paano ba ma master ang repeat sentence at write from dictation?

edit: tips sa speaking guys. see below template sa previous posts, iyan ang ginamit ko. Sa describe image pala, doon sa part ng "based on the data provided" ang sinasabi ko na kasunod diyan is iyong highest at lowest lang or iyong pinaka main points lang talaga (comfortable ako na isinusulat ko agad para hindi na ako titingin sa image/charts para iwas confusion baka ano pa masabi ko) then doon sa "overall" part sinasabi ko iyong general trend at tsaka iyong possible mangyayari sa image/given charts.. etc..

sa retell lecture naman, I get the main topic ... tapos habang nakikinig nagsusulat na ako ng two sentences tungkol sa topic na nababanggit sa lecture. Ito ang binabasa ko after sabihin ko iyong "to summarize, the speaker points out that..." make sure pala lagyan mo ng "In addition iyong second sentence..."

ito lang ang mashare ko sa speaking kasi kulelat ako sa ibang components hehee..

DESCRIBE IMAGE:

"The (pie chart, line graph, bar graph, image, map / comparative if 2 or more) projected on the screen is a presentation of variables in a research entitled (title of figure).

Based on the data provided... (say 2-3 sentences about the graph, kahit wala masyado sense basta mabangit mo content ng image)

Overall, the ____________ was accurate and concise and can be used as a reference for future studies with the same content.

RETELL LECTURE

"The lecturer provided brief information about (topic) and a significant amount of time was spent discussing around this topic.

The speaker concluded after all the main points were completely discussed.

To summarize, the speaker points out that (say 2-3 points mentioned in the lecture).

Overall, the lecture was interesting and informative and can be utilized by students and lecturers."

@ray1188, @tsenrejean24 thanks sa pag cheer up. Nakuha ko na dn result. Di ko pa din nkuha superior. Mas bumaba yung Listening ko from 76 naging 63. Hirap tlga kpag late dumating nakakawala ng focus sa exam tumakbo ksi ako haha. pero oks lang bawi na lng ako sa game 7 at sana yun na tlga. hehe. In HIS time makukuha nten to. 🙂 Don't lose hope.

@ray1188, not sure pa kung kelan. Pagnagka budget ulit siguro. Pero parang ayaw ko na pagtagalin ulet. Haha. Sayang momentum ko sa reading nka 89 ako pero di ko pa din na superior. Listening & Speaking na lng. Yung writing ko dn pala bumaba ulet. hehe.

Guys question lang... If naka 90 bako sa speaking does it mean naperfect ko yung mga bawat exam sa buong speaking section like repeat sentence and describe image? Salamat sa mga makakasagot 🙂

@ray1188 hindi necessarily bro kasi ako aminado ako mahina ako sa repeat sentence at meron akong mali pero nakakuha ako ng 90, siguro may tolerable error sa bawat components.

@ray1188 nagpapractice din ako sa writing kasi weakness ko din ito pero ito mga ginawa ko during sa exam..

summarize written text (5-75) limit ko lang between 30-35 kasi may tendency na magkakamali ako kapag marami akong sinusulat at nahihirapan akong i-connect iyong mga thoughts, as much as possible comma lang gagamitin ko na punctuation. Sabi nga nila keep it simple.
essay (200-300) number of words ko ay between 250-300 dapat (see attached template na gamit ko galing kay manong foreigner Steven-may nag-attached ng link dito nakalimutan ko kung saan na)
reading and writing fill in the blanks --- binabasa ko iyong words before and after sa choices or kung hindi ko talaga maintindihan sunod ko babasahin iyong buong sentence or iyong buong paragraph. Sometimes iyong ibang answers namemention sa next sentences or last paragraph.

malaki tulong din iyong collocations.

summarize spoken text (malaki advantage na mabilis ako mag type sa computer kaya no need to write) ginamit ko iyong template sa e2language..

Without these international consumers to buy their products, there are fewer sales, which means that inventories pile up. When there is more supply than demand, prices go down. Lower prices would normally cause demand to pick up, but in an uncertain economy people tend to postpone purchases. We see this tendency in the American economy with computer products where consumers believe that the prices will go down if they wait another six months, so they decide to hold off. This tendency causes further gluts in the market, which eventually leads manufacturers to slow production. They lay off workers, causing domestic consumption to fall further since there is less money to buy goods. These effects ripples throughout the economy and create a deflationary spiral that can lead to a recession or even a depression.
