Hello! Silent reader lang po ako on this forum for the past few weeks and received a lot of valuable info preparing for the exam.Took my PTE-A exams yesterday and thankfully received superior overall score 🙂
I would like to share my PTE experience because I understand the feeling of anxiety and pressure of preparing and taking this exam so I am hoping this might help others.
Feb 26: Booked my PTE-A exam (11k), Purchased E2 Language Basic Package (3.7k), Purchased PTE Practice Gold Kit (3.2k). In total, I spent around 18k.
Mar 6: Took mock exam A - Overall Score: 54 (L:61, R:55, S:35, W: 69). I took this exam to assess my current skills so I can determine my focus items (Reading and Speaking in my case)
Mar 7 - Mar 24:
Studied E2 Language extensive methods video, very helpful tips and method structure
Took the sample practice questions in E2 language
Practiced in PTE app on my mobile phone kapag may free time, like waiting for food sa restaurant or commute on the way to work
Spent around 3 hours a day practicing only 1 area (e.g. Mon is for Speaking, Tue for Writing).
Mar 25: Took mock exam B - Overall Score: 77, (L: 90 , R 71:, S: 64, W:90). I did this to assess my skills before I took the actual exam. For the next few days I spent my time practicing only Speaking and Reading.
Mar 28: Actual exam - Overall Score: 90 (L: 90, R: 90, S: 90, W: 90) .
