share ko lang po yung exam ko kahapon at ilang tips na rin
Describe Image - follow E2 language method sa introduction ng image pati na rin sa pagidentify ng trend, highest or lowest points sa graphs. then lagi ko ginagamit yung conclusion nila boss @heprex at @batman ("This graph/image is particularly useful...")
Re-tell Lecture - used E2 language structure din. I ensured na meron akong mga sentence connectors na ginamit such as firstly, next, finally the speaker concluded, etc.
Repeat Sentence and Answer Short Question - useful yung practices sa ptestudy.com
SWT - very challenging yung SWT set ko yesterday, 2 items lang sya and merong isa na hindi ko maintindihan kung ano yung main topic. my technique here is to write approximately 30 words lang. usually merong subject who did something which lead to something. ignore lahat ng details, iniisip ko gumagawa ako ng teaser, title or headline para dun sa paragraph.
Essay - swerte ko talaga sa writing dahil 2 yung essay ko. hindi pa argumentative yung topic as most practice materials are. pero I still followed E2 language structure. My essay tips are (1) make sure to answer the question prompt, never write anything off-topic (2) yung last sentences of my paragraphs always lead back to the 1st sentence (ito yung nakakataas ng written discourse) (3) read essay topics ng IELTS and PTE online para mafamiliarize dun sa mga arguments. better kasi if makakapagprovide ng at least 2 arguments/examples sa essay
(essay 1: more people are devoting their time in their jobs and they have no more time for personal life. do you think this problem is widespread? what are the implications of having less time for personal life?)
(essay 2: students have several sources of information such as published books and articles, teachers, internet and discussing with co-students. which do you think is the most reliable source of information?)
Reading Tasks - practice everyday. laging magbasa ng iba't-ibang writing styles at topics
Listening - particular din sa exam kahapon, puro non-native speakers yung nakuha kong speakers sa listening set. mahirap intindihin kasi thick yung accents nila. suggest ko rin na manood kayo ng tedx videos sa youtube para mapractice yung listening skill
For reading & listening, manage your time well. magspend lang ng around 2 mins each task tapos move on na sa next. lalo yung WFD, very important na abutin sya since malaki impact sa listening score
good luck sa lahat and thank you ulit sa lahat ng mga useful tips dito sa forum π
