Based on my experience, mas mababa yung scores ko sa mock exam. Maybe it depends on various factors during your mock exam such as microphone, internet connection, etc. Tsaka i think mas madali yung actual exam kaysa sa mock exam. Aim for superior, God bless on ur exam! :-bd

hello all! Ask ko lang po kung meron senyo ang nag take ng mock exam then ang result ng lahat is okay except pronunciation and oral fluency, as in 10 lang score, meaning parang wala sila narecognize sa boses ko? 🙁 i am just worried kasi i thought i did well. I don't know kung anong problem.

Hello guys... i noticed that the PTE Exam seems so difficult these days more difficult than my previous PTE takes... Any others who felt the same?

@JoieStar kumusta po enabling skills nyo? san kayo nahirapan? ang naiisip ko po Summarize Spoken Text yung pwede magcontribute sa low listening and writing scores. try nyo po makinig ng iba ibang topic and accents, then practice everyday. kaya nyo po yan 🙂

@pangky_town yung sakin po mas mahirap yung exam ko ngayong april kesa nung march. merong nakaka-alien na topic ako sa SWT tapos 2 essays. yung listening sets ko rin, puro non-native english speakers na very thick accents. sa describe image naman, mas complicated yung mga graphs, pero hindi pa rin kasing hirap nung mga nasa practice tests

@JosephDaryllRN good luck sa atin. Naghahanap sana ako ng kasabay. Hindi pa ako nagbbool pero kung meron sa end of April mageexam na ako. Sa totoo lang hindi pa ako prepared.

@chyrstheen yung Grammar, Vocabulary at Written Discourse ko almost nsa 60 lang. Sa SWT at Essay ako prang nahirapan. Gumamit po ba kau ng template sa essay?

Essay

Paragraph 1

1st sentence: Rewrite main topic

2nd sentence: Rewrite arguments

3rd sentence: "This essay will discuss why (state which side are you on)"

Paragraph 2

1st sentence: Argument 1

2nd sentence: cite example of argument 1

3rd sentence: further elaborate example 1

4th sentence: connect example with first sentence of paragraph 2. use words such as thus, therefore, etc.

Paragraph 3

1st sentence: Argument 2

2nd sentence: cite example of argument 2

3rd sentence: further elaborate example 2

4th sentence: connect example with first sentence of paragraph 3. use words such as thus, therefore, etc.

Paragraph 4

1st sentence: rewrite main topic (must be different composition as sentence 1 of paragraph 1)

2nd sentence: summarize argument 1 and argument 2

3rd sentence: conclude, restate and emphasize your opinion

Tips:

never write off-topic. intindihin maigi kung anong tinatanong ng essay and make use of examples to support your arguments
use synonyms to boost vocabulary
always connect the 4th sentences of your argument paragraphs to boost written discourse
try to make at least 1 compound sentence each in paragraphs 2 and 3
practice writing essays with timer
familiarize yourself with the frequent PTE and IELTS essay topics. try nyo rin po magbasa ng mga sample answers para may idea kayo sa mga arguments
practice lang para maenhance ang vocab and grammar

The university will deduct the student's score for late assignments, opinions OR Universities should penalize students for late submission of their work

@pangky_town, yup, same feeling here. May nakuha akong item recently sa reading MCQ na 8 ang options nagulat ako at mejo time consuming ksi prang identical lahat ng sagot.

@pangky_town agree parang mas mahirap exam this April. Nagretake din ako, feeling ko mas prepared ako this time kasi familiar na ko sa format ng exam, dun pa lang sa WFD at repeat sentence sa dami ng inaral ko at halos kinabisado feeling ko 1 lang lumabas at halos lahat more than 10 words. Sa essay ako medyo natuwa kasi mas madali.. pero the rest mas mahirap.. kung 1st take ko nakakuha ako ng 10pts itong 2nd take ko sa April hindi lang ako nawalan ng points, failing grades nakuha ko.. 🙁(
