The other difference also is that the actual exam is noisy on the speaking part since you're sitting with the other test takers.

@cocobanatski Hi. Yung first mock exam ko speaking was 66. With practice I think I improved. So medyo confident na ko sa Mock Test B ko. Then I was surprised na 10 ang speaking ko. But that was because of my mic. So nung inulit ko Test B mas mataas na dahil alam ko na mga tanong. Haha. I think that gave me false confidence which helped calm my nerves before the actual exam.

@ali0522 They say yes mas madali ang actual compared sa mock. But I think it is of the same difficulty level ang magkaiba lang is yung scoring. With the mock exam, iba yata scoring algorithm ginagamit nila kaya mas mababa and mas mabilis lumabas ang result. I dont know for sure ha, haka haka ko lang naman po yan. Sa second exam ko, mahirap yung listening.

@imau my first exam, i took it 9am and finished around 11:30 by 3:30PM meron na result.

hi guys - is it still advisable to take the mock exam despite that it's not accurate compare sa actual exam? As long as you know how the exam goes, lets say how many minutes ang kelangan mo sa isang exam type and tips etc..ok na yun?

@hmacaraniag i will still recommend doing at least one mock exam from ptepractice for the purpose of having a feel of how the exam would look like pagdating sa pagkasunod sunod ng questions.

And since yung timing ng ptepractice mock exam is not like the one on the actual exam I’d suggest do another mock from ptetutorials. Eto may timing talaga like the actual. May free naman silang 10 mock exams so pwedeng pwede na po yun.

@jericho7 ang alam ko po bossing kung ano yung nakalagay sa passport mo yun din po yung nakalagay dapat. Try nyo po kaya update sa profile?

@ali0522 sa experience ko almost identical sila. So kng mababa results mo sa mock test take other ways para mas mag improve pa.

Good Morning Guys, bago lang ako sa group pero medyo matagal na ding viewing dito. Thank you sa lahat ng mga tips nakuha ko for PTE and paano mag start to apply for immigrant in AU. I finished my Skills assessment and PTE pero mababa ung score ko sa exam. I’d like to ask kung pwede na ba ako mag lodge ng EOI even my score is low?

PTE Results: | Listening = 54 | Reading = 63 | Speaking = 70 | Writing = 59

@d_slayer22 - no sir..65 kasi ang passing points for 2018 and matindi ang competition to invite. I would suggest na isuperior mo yung PTE to get 20 pts to get higher possibility to be invited.

@d_slayer22 Same po tayo ng code. Unfortunately, pro rata po yung code natin so mahirap ma invite pag mababa ang points. According sa preditictions at least 65 points ang kelangan natin para mainvite, but it will take a long time to receive the invite.

Para po mas mataas ang chances na mainvite, I strongly suggest na pataasin pa po yung score ng PTE. If you can get superior that will add another 10 points sa inyo. Okay na po yung 70 points for 189.. 70+5 for 190.

@iamabcd , nice same code pala tayo sir, although sa December magkaroon ako ng additional 5pts kasi masagad ko na yung 8yrs sa work experience. Pero sige practice pa ng marami to get a Superior score.

@iamabcd na superior mo na Pte? Ok ba sa ReLc? Nag exam ako dun, may bad experience kasi ako.. hirap kasi ako makakuha Ng slot sa Pearson ksi Ayaw ko absent sa work... sa RElc ksi Maybato Saturday sila..

Yay! Got my desired scores of 79 up. Took the test yesterday at Pearson Makati. I thought I didn’t pass because I guessed reorder para due to time mgt.

I got L:90 / R:89 / W:90 / S:90

I will share some detailed tips this week. For now, yun na-encounter ko na mahirap is managing time sa Reading. I had to guess 2 parts of re-order paragraph because the exam started with RW Fill in the blanks which is my weakness then last part is Multiple choice, SA. So baliktad talaga sya, I decided quickly na yun mga weakness ko is swiftly ko lang sasagutan then proceed to the end since easier yun kesa maubusan ng oras.

I only got 1 essay which I was surprised since sa mock tests 2 sya usually kaya sa start pa lang ng Reading test, tensed na ko kasi akala ko may na-skip ako.

Thanks to @deaddisco and @iamabcd for their detailed guides which helped me a lot, and for being responsive sa mga questions ko.
