@Feebzz basically, if you're coming from IELTS, una mong dapat gawin is know the format of PTE. mag try ka one time ng whole PTE exam review. then after nun, since alam mo na what to expect, balik ka sa thread na to and learn from the tips. hindi mo kasi maaappreciate mga tips dito if hindi mo pa alam difference ng IELTS at PTE. ganun ginawa ko. I answered macmillan first. whole test simulation without timer. Then after nun, balik ka dito and read their tips. it will all become clear to you pano magstrategize. Strategy is the key in PTE.

and nope. bawal papel sa exam. passport or ID and key ng locker lang ang dala. wallet, phone, pens, eraser, jewelry, money, etc bawal. same with IELTS.

@jrgongon ksi 22 pa lang ako and wla ako 3 years overseas or 1 year aus experience kya PTE 20 points lng pwd mkpag 60 points sakin. nk student visa ako naun and 189 ung plan ko. d din ksi ako mg qualify sa state sponsorship

@Feebzz- hindi po.. only your passport, locker key ang pede mong dalhin sa loob. Pen and a laminated paper will be provided by them.

@Feebzz kaya need mo magmemorize..then isulat mo sa provided ng test center na notebook, BUt during your test un ah, like after ng first question ng exam, usually pede mo gawin yan after ng 1st read aloud question bago ka magproceed sa next question. Pero dapat aware ka sa time ah, kasi continuous pa din un eh.

Naka 65 ako sa speaking sa mock test ko.. Yun yung time na wala pa ako mga templates na ginamit.. Naka 90 ako sa written discourse, pero mababa overall writing score ko.. Dito sa baba ng signature ko nilagay ko scres ng mock at actual.. Mas madali yung actual compared sa mock. Suggest take the mock na din.. Iba yung feeling na alam mo na yung ieexpect mo sa actual...

hmmm so mas objective pala talaga unlike sa IELTS na subjective na kaylangan pa makuha mood ng examiner, haha (bitter)..

Pero if computer na ung nagchcheck meaning mas strict sa grammar? I mean mas malaki impact sa score? o di naman gano maka ka apekto?

@paw07 yes. grammar is also inlcuded in the enabling skills to be graded. Enabling skills: Grammar, oral fluency, pronunciation, spelling, vocabulary, written discourse. based sa mock test ko, napansin ko na if you'll be able to get 80 and above for 3 or more enabling skills, more likely mataas din makukuha mong scores and higher chance for 79+ for each band. Given around 65 magiging lowest mong skill. Just my observation.
