Eto yung tips sa listening:

WFD-practice using Careercoves(Mar-Apr) & MoniPTEmagic(posted in Dec) youtube vids. paulit2 lang yan, ang importante narinig mo na yung possible na ibigay sayo sa exam

RS-practice using Careercoves(Apr). halos walang lumabas sa kin. just focus listening, close your eyes if that works for you

SST-use captured phrases, i-link nyo lang

RL-use captured phrases, then use template (yung kay e2 language ginamit ko)

HIW-practice kayo using 1.25 speed sa APEuni or RealPTE, para madali na yung normal speed

LMCQs-wait nyo yung keyword/s sa question, madalas kasunod nun yung sagot or guide ano pwede eliminate sa choices

HCS-just understand, pansin ko auto eliminate yung 2 choices. check nyo last fews words sa choices kpg mahaba, madalas same sya ng ending ng audio or paraphrase lang

@brainsap try to speak always for 35-38 secs sa lahat ng Speaking tasks with consistency sa pacing. Yun lng ang key sa Speaking. To boost Listening score nman, content matters sa mga Speaking tasks mo lalo sa RL at RS.

Hi ask ko lang po if sa WFD eh like may lumabas na numbers like 10minutes susulat ko ba buong ten or just a number? Thanks

@jewel_34 great question. minsan may mga bagay like this na we tend to overlook and not include during our review and practice - pero very essential to note.

See below explanation. In formal writing such as WFD (or in any other question type in PTE that involves writing - pede natin i apply ang rule na ito) 🙂

For general academic writing, you need to write these numbers in words: all numbers under one hundred (e.g. ninety-nine) rounded numbers (e.g. four hundred, two thousand, six million) and ordinal numbers (e.g. third, twenty-fifth). Exceptions: See 3. When to use digits for numbers

Examples

 The country had been at war for twenty-five years. (number under 100)

 Over four hundred soldiers were sent to the war zone. (rounded numbers)

 The thirty-eighth battalion was sent to the war zone for the fourth time. (ordinal numbers)

So in WFD cases for example, write ten minutes instead of 10 minutes. Mas formal kasi in academic writing.
