Again - only take the scored MOCK TEST when

(1) You are 101% prepared for it - meaning, you have practiced countless times, you are aware on all the scoring guidelines for each of the 20 question types (negative marking, word limit, etc), you have revisited your grammar rules, you practiced and memorize all the applicable templates by heart, you know your academic collocations, you know your synonyms for the words you plan to use, you know your linking words, you know your transition words ,etc.

Mahal ang mock test, wag sayangin just to gauge your stock knowledge - di yan uubra. PTE is a structured exam with guidelines that needs to be followed with time constraint factor pa.

(2) Your actual test is at least 2 months away (ideally). This allows you to prepare and work out any of your weaknesses (as shown in your mock test result) - should you receive a score lower than your desired score. may chance pang mag improve at mag review para sa sunod na mock test makita mo na upward na ang progression mo.

(3) Mock test can only be used once.

(4) Please purchase a good quality headset with mic para ma capture maigi sa speaking. Sayang ang mock test just because nagtipid ka sa headset na gagamitin and end up getting a very low score sa speaking.

(5) Practice with a timer, making sure you are able to finish your response in DI, RL within 40 seconds. Use a template. Impromptu speaking won’t work in 40 seconds

nakakasad kasi nagtake ako ng pte recently, ginamit ko naman mostly ng templates na nakita ko dito medyo ok pa dati yong confidence level ko.. pero di ako nakapag mock test with score prior the actual test at samsung earphones lang ginagamit ko magpractice using yong mga available lang sa you tube at yong free sa pearsons.. yong free sa pearsons sa DI at RA di ko rin nagamit with score kasi wala akong headset kaya di ako nakasubmit ng recording.so di ko nakita score ko. sa actual exam ko 10/90 ang oral fluency ko 25/90 din ang pronunciation.. mababa overall rating ko madaming review at more practice pa. papalipas muna ako papakiramdaman ko pa if kakayanin ko ba? 😭😭😭

@Tryingchances nag check ka mabuti ng mic and quality ng recordings mo prior mag start and exam? Kasi parang impossible na 10 lang ang score sa oral fluency unless hindi ka talaga nag salita. Try mo mag email sa Pearson regarding sa score mo kasi baka mamaya nagka error during the time na nag take ka ng exam.

During testing natry ko din naman mapakinggan yong recorded voice ko.parang bata. di na ako nag adjust sa volume kasi honestly di ko alam saan pwede maadjust.. nasagot ko din naman lahat ng Speaking section sa DI naisulat ko naman yong template prior kaya may guide ako.. pero di nalang muna siguro ako magcomplaint kay pearsons kasi yong W,R at L ko di rin umabot sa 79

paghahandaan ko nalang siguro ng maigi next time..i'll take ur advise. saka dapat siguro lakasan ko voice ko may kahinaan kasi "timid type". thank you!!!

Hello po, matagal na po akong silent reader, and plan ko ng magtake ng pte soon after taking the mock exams. I'm worried lang kasi hindi ako confident sa Retell Lecture, kasi may times na konti lang nakukuha kong notes and aiming for 79+. Effective pa din po ba yung template nina Heprex dito? May gumamit po ba nito recently and got 79+ in Speaking and Listening. Worried po kasi ako baka sa listening naman maapektuhan. Salamat po in advance.

#Take note as much as you can po. Effective po template given na mas > pa din ang content from audio. If comfortable po kayo na makinig at less notes, or 3 phrases lang i notes, much better po.

#Consider din po na palit ng earphones or desktop na gamit. Minsan sa hardware po ng desktop o laptop mismo ang sira.

hello po, I took the exam yesterday and thank God nakuha ko yung superior. Sobrang nahirapan ako to the point na di na ako umasang makukuha yung superior score. When I left the exam room sobrang frustrated and demotivated ako pero when I received the score today sumabit score ko 🙂 I want to thank everyone sa mga sumasagot sa mga questions, sa templates and very willing to help especially kay @ms_ane @Supersaiyan @steven @Leica (if may nakalimutan ako thank you pa din).

Ishare ko lang din pala yung experience ko lalo na sa listening. I got 3 SST and nung natapos ko yung SST nakita ko yung time ko na 16 mins na lang and nasa 3 out 16 pa lang yung nasasagutan ko. Halos kulang na yung oras ko and hindi pwedeng inext hanggang di tapos yung audio. Di ko na masyado inintindi yung MCMA at HCS para lang makaabot sa WFD. 4 na WFD din nakuha ko and nung na natapos ko yung exam 30secs na lang natira sakin. Be aware of your time lang. Hope this helps and good luck sa mga magtatake ng exam!
