Describe Image - I used the template.
During the 10 sec prep - I took the information for the highest and lowest value. Maski dalawang pie chart pa yan, or multiple bar graphs - dahil hindi mo macocover lahat pili ka lang ng 2 values)
sa Intro, I inserted the words na nasa image like title ng graph and yung categories, then yun body na (with the highest and lowest value), then conclusion.
Just note na there are different templates for each DI category (pie chart, bar graph, photo, process, cycle, map - etc)
Tama na you write down the template during RA dahil doon may napakaraming extra time to write - para di ka mawala. Practice maigi para maski na you are reading or glancing through the words, somehow it will still come out as fluent and natural at hindi halatang memorized.
Retell Lecture - sa retell, i listen carefully sa recording to take the main topic and wrote down 2-3 complete and exact sentences from the recording and yun ang ginamit ko sa body - followed by the generic conclusion.
Again, there is no way na mag impromptu speaking sa RI, and literal na binasa ko lang yung mga sentences ( pero syempre i papasok nyo yun sentences na gramatically correct pa din yun umpisa and not just say the sentence ( alam nyo na ibig ko sabihin 🙂 )
I always suggest to practice using the actual materials sa exam ( sharpie + laminated graphing paper) - this way wala ng adjustment na magaganap sa actual exam at mamanage nyo maigi yung pagsusulat nyo. Ako sa dami ko nasusulat hinahati ko yun each page dahil kung hindi e kalat kalat ako magsulat tapos minsan dko maintindihan lol struggle na tunay.
Sa may mga struggle sa speaking - wag panghinaan ng loob. By the use of the templates maitatawid nyo ang speaking. We stand by our advice na practice lang ng practice ng practice and ma superior nyo iyan. Sa RA - read in phrases, and practice like you’re telling a story or statement, and make sure na you are able to express the tone of the passage (informative, interrogative?). The goal is to be able to pass the message across as clearly as possible. I know some are using the style of moni magic na napakabilis magsalita - it’s your diskarte kung susundin, pero I cannot advocate for it kasi hindi yun ang sinunod ko - kasi I followed what is right and made sense for me personally (natakot ako mag take risk din)
