@boogak firstly we need to identify and acknowledge san nga ba ang problema. Nasa headset ba, or masasabi mo na needs improvement ang iyong pronunciation?

Isama mo na din ang enunciation sa part na iyan. Tayong mga Pinoy di naman tayo sinanay na mag enunciate - kasi ang interpretation agad is “ang arte mo naman magsalita”... kaya ang ending e when we say both , bath, with (enunciation H) - ang lumalabas (and akala nating tama at ok lang e) , bot, bat, wid.

If you need to revisit ang basic principles sa pag pronounce marami yan sa you tube and be confident when saying these words lalo nasa RA. Agree ako na mag try ka sa speech to text para you get to see how the computer interprets the words that you say.

#Hi @boogak, tama yung mga sinabi nila lalo ni @ms_ane. Additionally, kung pde ka sana mag send sa amin ng sample recording mo doing RA, RL at DI para ma assess din nmen kung san nagkaka problem. Possible ksi bka mic issue or positioning mo ng mic.

#Regarding po sa question nyo @coolguy22, madalas po madaming nagkakaroon ng confusion regarding sa timer ng mock vs. timer ng actual exam. Ang tama po eh may mga allotted time lang sa part ng Speaking, SWT, Essay at SST hndi po tuloy tuloy gaya nung nsa mock and wala dn pong pause and continue, so keep your eyes po sa timer (upper right corner ng screen). To better understand po kung ilan ang timer bawat item types, refer po kayo sa E2Language videos at andon po yung tama.

#Sa akin, headset lang ni IPhone ginamit ko, so far oks nman results pati speaking given na sa quiet place ako nag exam ng mock, pero mas reality kpg sa maingay na lugar magtake ng mock, pero make sure na may noise cancellation yung mic na gagamitin or else baka maka affect sa result ng mock. @Admin

Hello po, this is my first post lol. I've been lurking here on this forum from time to time since I started reviewing PTE in the first week of October. Actually, my test day will be next week (16-Nov). And I already took two mock tests from the ptepractice.com.

I need your kind advise guys on how to move forward especially on the Reading section. Is there chance to ace the exam with only one week left for preparation? Thank you very much. 🙂

Comments: I did the test with a loud background noise to check if it will affect my scores

The background noise affected my Pronunciation score.

I ended up distracted during Reading and Listening section. I failed to answer one WFD question and missed 3-4 words from FIB-Listening. (I need to focus on my concentration)

aruuu kapatid naknangpateng na Reading isa nalang!!!! dibale go go go pa din! makukuha mo na yan sa 4th - keep the faith 🙂

@josierizal taas ng scores mo kapatid. masinsinang dagdag na review pa for reading, and make sure you review ang mga rules and negative markings. Para sa Reading na may mga multiple ang answers, isa lang sagutan mo instead of 2 or 3, kasi we are not aiming naman to get a perfect score of 90 so we are willing to let go yung ilang points para makasabit lang sa 79.

Review ng maigi sa RO kasi naka pair ang scoring dyan, and make sure na ma ace mo ang WFD as in kailangan makuha mo ang tatlo kasi ang taas ng scores mula dyan. Goodluck! 🙂

@adam2611 for mock test, i suggest you only use ptepractice. kasi it's from Pearson mismo. baka lumabas pa ung test sa actual test 🙂
