Now since you said you will fly out of Singapore, di ito kailangan; in fact SG immigration official are not aware of what a CFO is. Same goes sa Australia, di nila alam ang CFO and that visa grant is all that matters to them.

I would say don't mind that... It applies if you are flying our from Manila. From the text you have shared, it didn't state that Australia will made a big fuss when you land here. And definitely, SG immigration will not know about this requirement.

Ganyan din po yung nasa Grant Notification namin, nung EID kami from Singapore. Wala naman po tanong tanong ang both SG and AU Immigration.

Ang concern lang po is Halimbawa, from SG nag move na kayo to AU. Then, after a year nagbakasyon kayo sa Pinas, meaning from AU umuwi kayo Phils, tapos pabalik kayo ng AU from Phils, eh haharangin ba kayo ng Phils Immgration kasi wala tayo CFO? Eto po atang case na ito ang wala pa naka experience.

I want to know this as well HOWEVER parang moot and academic na if babalik ka sa pinas after 2 yrs of living as a migrant sa Australia...

CFO is supposed to be for NEW migrants; parang di applicable na sa balikbayan yan... ehehehe!! pero knowing the stupidity of the Philippine gov't, this is not far from impossible. 🙂

makikinig sa seminar na malamang alam nyo na ang mga sinasabi kung kayo mismo naglalakad ng migration nyo, at malamang mas may alam pa kayo sa nagsasalita...
haharangin ng Comelec sa labas ng room pagkatapos ng seminar para sa absentee voting chorva...
tapos antay ulit para ibalik passport nyo na may CFO sticker na

simple lang naman diba, so bakit ayaw nyo magpatatak 😛

and yes true, mas marami pa akong alam kesa sa lecturer dun who can't even correctly pronounce Australia (Ostralya) and Melbourne (Milborn)

Buhayin ko lang po itong thread. Any inputs naman po please re sending things (used personal items) from Pinas to Aus (Melbourne in particular).

Isip kasi namin ng wife ko dalhin ang mga pwedeng madala na sure naman magagamit sa Aus para less gastos especially on a tight budget. This is kung di magkasya sa ibibigay na baggage allowance ng IOM whether 40-60kgs each passenger pa. Mga items we're thinking are comforter, mga handed-down winter jackets. We're thinking bagging and vacuuming them to save space. Pero ang main consideration parin is what if mag-excess sa 60kgs each... Any suggested seafreight/airfreight company please?

I reckon its not worth bringing comforter here its really bulky ... anyway the best way and the cheapest way is through philpost ...

through philpost as others have mentioned it will cost you 8k PHP that is 200$

@lock_code2004, so applicable pla sakin to kasi dito ko sa AUS nakuha ung PR ko at kailangan ba talaga to? Ung dad same din kami ng visa ngaun but nung umuwi sya ng Pinas last year hndi sya ngpatatak sa CFO at wla naman naging problema..

What about VEVO po?

Per grant letter, we are to call 131 881 to set up a password since we don't have a TRN. Upon further checking at DIAC website, this number is to be called if from within Aus. Did any of you made the overseas call to VEVO or called to set up the password via Aus Embassy in Makati instead?

@hard2handle you can use visa grant number instead of TRN. Check your grant letter if there's a visa grant number indicated there.

Jahe! Salamat @rolly04! Yung medicals kasi naming dati di ko din ma-check online ang status kasi wala akong TRN (that or di ko din nakita ng maayos) kaya I never bothered checking the VEVO site. Nakita ko na po using our Visa Grant Number.
