Reply to @icebreaker1928: Mag-iinquire kami tomorrow sa ANZ Makati para mag-open ng account. Tas free of charge pag nag-withdraw ka anywhere of their branches. Pero magdadala pa din kami ng Australian dollars as pocket money. 🙂 I'll keep you posted kapag nakausap ko na ANZ.

Reply to @JClem: salamat pre... pero may nabasa ako somewhere dito sa forum na separate entity ang ANZ dito at sa ANZ AU... so parang regular bank lang sila like BPI, BDO etc.... paki-confirm boss...

We can open an account while still here in PH, deposit the money while still here, tapos activate na lang pagdating don...

hi jclem! Naginquire na rin ako sa ANZ Makati before. Tama yung sinasabi ni icebreaker1928. More of investment kase yung dito sa Pinas, hindi withdrawable yung amount bsta basta pagdating sa AU. I forgot na how it was explained to me before. hehe Pero inquire na lang din kayo cguro ulit. hehe 🙂

@JClem, kailangan ba may Aussie bank talaga? Parang naalala ko sa isa pang thread dito sabi ni Sir Totoy puwede na rin yung local banks natin lalo na kung BPI, BDO

Thank you @stolich18 and @icebreaker1928 for that information. Unfortunately, di ako nakapag-inquire today. But I'll check those links @icebreaker1928. By the way, girl po ako. 🙂

@LokiJr, preferred sana namin Australian bank na parang walang charges pag nag-withdraw. Pwede actually BPI, BDO and even Metrobank to withdraw internationally or any local ATMs na may Cirrus ba yun. Kaya lang mga 100-200 pesos per withdrawal transaction ang charge.

I tried withdrawing money in Australia using my BPI international but it didn't work. :-(

for immigrants lang po ang CFO stamp.. CFO- Commission for Filipino Overseas..
