@janarmy: I didn't change my status in my passport either. CFO guidance and counseling is a must process for you to obtain the cfo sticker which will be attached to your passport. Kasi pag na grant na partner visa mo, iche-check sa airport yung cfo sticker and its a MUST - its a Philippine requirement.
Just think na, for you to attend the CFO seminar and get the sticker, you have to show your Marriage Cert or Report of Marriage with stamp from the consulate.
Others just attend the CFO just to change the status and not migrate to Oz, but then again, kung magtravel ka sa Oz with a partner visa, the CFO sticker is a must.
I understand your confusion, ganun din ako noon. Bu what I did was to google and call the relevant office para ma confirm talaga anong totoo na info. I'm not into 'kasi sabi ng iba na ganito..'
