Hi! anyone here, who's a Phil. RN(with no experience) and will be taking a 2-year Bachelor of Nursing in Au? just need some advice about the amount of financial evidence needed for the school under Streamlined Visa. I have pending applications in UWS and UTS. need to pass financial documents before they will issue Letter of Offer. THANKS!🙂

@klaire18 You're taking a degree, right? And the two schools you've mentioned are indeed under streamlined. I think you don't need any proof of funds. But anyway, usually, it'll be around 2M to 3M.

I misread your post, I thought you were asking about the visa requirements. It's the school requiring you to pass your financial evidence? Weird, coz I also applied for UTS and they didn't ask me to provide one. However, I think UTS' computation is around 18k AUD annually. So just multiply it to the number of years, you're gonna study. 🙂

LOL Scratch that! I just checked my brochure. UTS' annual living cost is at $18,640 to $25,740 So I'm guessing if they're asking for proof of funds, you need to provide that much.

Reply to @beaj: Hi Beaj! thanks for the immediate response! nd congrats to ur OZ visa!🙂 Actually, it is UWS requiring me to fill-out & submit their SVP Financial Declaration form attached with the Supporting evidence of funds before they issue an Offer Letter. When I initially submitted my application to them I didn't know that there is new policy about SVP, so they acknowledged first my application and instructed me to pass the above documents before they proceed with the assessment. and my dilemma is that, it was not clear in the Declaration form how much should I provide as evidence of my financial capacity. You mean, the annual living cost is the only one included in the computation? I thought I need to provide proof of funds for at least the first 12 months of my stay to cover my *tuition cost ($27,000/year), & living costs (18,640/year), OSHC (800), travel (1000)=total(47,440). About UTS, I'm still waiting for the assessment outcome--I haven't heard from them since they acknowledged my application( I think it was 4 weeks ago)...🙁 Is the processing time for UTS really that long?🙁 btw, yes, I'm taking Bachelor in Nursing for 2 years since I'm already a RN here. How about you? What course are you taking? How did you compute the show money evidence that you submitted to the school since I think ur under SVP too? and, is my understanding ryt, that under SVP, during the visa application itsef, there's no need for us to pass financial documents to the embassy once we had the COe from the school (a notarized declaration statement is the only one needed?) . Sorry for the loaded questions. It's just that there's a party of queries going on in my mind ryt now & it is scattered.haha! THANKS MUCH!!!!!^__^

Reply to @baktiguru: Hello! Are you a Registered nurse? Coz I think "Phil. Management" caters on what ur seeking. You just need an IELTS 7 ( in all bands) and a minimum of 2 years nursing work experience...

You're right actually, you do have to include your tuition fee and your OSHC. I'm not quite sure if you only need to provide a year's financial evidence. Because in the visa application you have to compute it by tghe number of years you're going to stay. Maybe you can clarify that with UWS.

I didn't push through with my UTS aplication, transferred to a college instead. But I got my offer letter after 3wks? It's in my timeline. Lol

My new school is under streamlined but it's just a business partner. I've no idea how they had me assessed. But for my two years, study, I reckon they got around 3M in pesos and some of the dollar acts. They will return the other bank statements they don't need.

As for SVP, I think you don't need to pass proof of funds. But just check diac's website to be sure

I'm taking Diploma in Business for 2 years. I was supposed to take MA in TESOL at UTS but I decided I don't want to teach anymore. So I went the other way. SVP is a bit hard to explain. My school is a business partner eligible for SVP but I'm not furthering my studies after I get my diploma so I was not assessed under SVP. Furthering your studies in your college's partner university is a requirement kasi. Thanks 🙂

University of Technology Sydney. Yes, for 2 years. Did you pass your financial documents with them before they issue you COe? how much evidence of funds have you provided? and Since you're also under SVP when you filed your visA application, did you just submit to them "declaration of funds"--no need for the actual bank certificates/statements?🙂

Reply to @Yukishih: btw, am I correct that under SVP, no need to provide bank history, just need to show the current/updated balance of account-- so bank certificates will suffice? did you submit to the school evidence of your sources of funds, such as cert. of employment or payslips? thanx yukishi!🙂
