Help! Visa Subclass 189, 190 or 489

Good Morning pinoyau!

A newbie here and preparing my application for the said visa/s for Civil Engineering or Architectural Draftsperson. I believe that the Civil Engineering Draftsperson is applicable or the Visa 189 and the Architectural Draftsperson is for the Visa 190. My question is, which of these 3 will be more suitable for me and have a bigger chance of being approved? i'll be including my wife to my application.

Here's my credentials

Bachelor in Graphics Technology 🙂 (Technological University of the Philippines - Section 2)

9 years experience in Civil/Structural/Architectural Drafting

31 yrs old

Can be sponsored by a relative in Brisbane

No IELTS exam yet (Scheduled in June)

No Vettassess yet (Planning to be assessed this next week)

Partner skill is Bachelor in Economics

Additional question is, what documents do i have to provide for the Vettassess assessment?

Diploma? Transcript? COE? Shall i include all my training certificates? And do i have to include this training's in the Vettassess Higher Education page?

Any help would be very much appreciated for this will be our first step in our Australian migration.

Hi Sir,

Im a newbie here also. Confuse po ako kung ano ang applyan ko Civil engineering draftsman or Arch'l draftsman? I'm a license Architect pero un work ko is a Facade designer, for 10 years; un scope ng work ko po ay cover ng civil/structural & arch'l. I know po na masbuti sana kung applayan ko ay civil engineering dratfsman ksi visa 189 sya. Ano po kaya ang maganda nyo advice? Submit din po ba ako ng application as civil engineering draftsman?..thanks in advance po sa reply.

@amedala Sorry late reply,

Advice ko sayu research mo mabuti yung job description ng Civil and Architectural Draftsperson. Tpos compare mo sa jb desription sa COE mo, kung anu mas malapit yun apply mo, para mas sure ka sa assessment. In my case kasi similar talaga sa current job ko yung job description ng Civil Engineering Draftsperson kaya yung ang inaaply ko sa assessment. Pwede ka naman mag pa assess both Architectural and Civil, magastos lang hehehe, Hope this helps!
