@valiantboy hello! thanks for your response!
Yes same, BS Nursing din yung course na I'm taking sa Deakin. So you've taken it last year.. have you obtained your license already or about palang? How was the course modules for you naman po? may clinical placements din po ba? Atleast now naenlighten ako, i'm still on the process pa kasi. thanks so much!

About pa lang. Mid year intake ako last year July. Okay naman yung units. 3 units (subjects) per year worth 4 credit points (units). Hmm.. 4-5 months yung official semester nila pero yung actual teaching periods per unit 2 hours x 6-9 weeks. Katulad ng ibang unis may 1 week intrasemester break. Tapos 1-2 weeks before exams to revise (review). Tapos 2 weeks official exam period. Last sem 4-week placement namin before exams. This sem yung final 5-week placment namin after exams.
Yung mahirap lang pagdating sa mga assessments, may subjects 2 essays (40 & 60%), yung mga major nursing subjects online tests, skills (return demo) or exam hurdles na pass to continue, at may 2-hour exam. Yung ibang schools parang iba ng konti, merong written exams sa meetings, parang quizzes.
Pag maganda makuha mong sched pwedeng as little as 1 day pero pwedeng umabot ng 3 days tapos paminsan gabi yung sched 4-6pm. Gabi na yun pag winter.. Haha
With regards sa subjects, it depends pero yung nursing management and interventions (ncm) more on general med surg.. Pag 2 years yung course mo.. Possible yata na may paeds, periop, community o geria.
Btw, you'll notice na malaki sila sa self-directed learning pag undergrad ka at hindi ka tech voc. Ibig sabihin yung mga classes nila more on tutorials lang.. Kung anong questions mo o kung gusto mo ng drills yun na lang dinidiscuss. Inaassume at ineexpect nila na binasa mo na yung chapters.
So far okay naman. Nakakacope. Meron akong classmates na Pinoy nakaka High Distinction, ibig sabihin yung grade nila 80 or above out of 100.
