@zyahoo i don't think tourists are allowed to work. student visa yes..tourist no. diba tapos ka na mag bridging and you have a current APHRA license? what you do is keep applying to different regional/ city hospitals.. even private ones. just google them. make sure you have a cover letter saying that you have a current license.
most hospital can sponsor.. all they need to give you is a work offer naman eh. but you must state you have the registration already kasi if you don't have a cover letter..they won't bother putting you on the shortlist for interview.
like me..i didn't leave nz nor my job until i had my contract/ visa.. and i specified when i wanted to start and not the hospital.. that way i was able to prepare properly my resignation kasi 1 month notice eh, buy tickets, sort out our household items and also had 1 month time off😃
kasi ang 457 dapat you are outside of australia.. if you are a tourist and in australia..they still can't grant you that.. read that sa 457 visa. so keep applying, took me almost 4 months before someone shortlisted me for interviews..some applications nga i have forgotten that i applied. my end date kasi yung mga listings for almost about a month, so they won't start calling people for interview until the listing closes. then after it closes may mga 2 weeks pa sila na deliberation kung sino they will interview.. so parang sobrang tagal diba?
then if di ka naman talaga qualified... they will send email saying you weren't shortlisted like for example talagang far out yung experience mu sa job you applied for.
better to stay sa pinas and apply from their as long as you have the license.. that way if let's say queensland then regional hospital.. some offer relocation package.. eh may pamasahe kana sa airplane! hehehehe!
good luck..have patience. it is harder to apply for a job here under a tourist visa kasi you are spending in aud and not earning then no assurance pa when you will be shortlisted.
think about it..🙂
