By the way I have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting but i haven't worked as an accountant. Instead, i accepted I.T. jobs (major career shift 🙂, hotskills daw po kasi nung time na yon when i started job hunting back 2006.

Mas more on Functional side yung line ng work meaning more on client facing, Business Process reenginering, implementation and SAP Application Support, as compared to SAP Abaper (which primarily deals with SAP Codes and programming language) .

Palagay niyo po ba fit yung "ANZCO Code 261112 Systems Analyst" for me? since na mention po yung SAP SAP business software applications under example knowledge and technical requirements ng code na ito? 🙂

Also yung COE from my 2 former employers ko po kasi generic lang yung nakalagay na position and then duties and responsibilities were not included as well. Baka po i reject yon ng ACS. Papaano po kaya yung pwedeng gawin?

hi! ask ko lang para po sa katulad ko na licensed architect from PH na nag work sa SG for more than a year with 4 years work experience and graduated from University of Santo Tomas, possible po ba makapag migrate dyan sa AU or need makakuha muna ng job? thanks!

Reply to @icebreaker1928: nandito ka na ba AU? kung wala pa, siguro ikaw muna pumunta.. tapos ipon ipon ka muna bago mo pasunurin family mo. makakaipon ka nun. tapos pag stable ka na on your own, tsaka ka na apply ng work sa iba.. atleast may local experience ka na.

Reply to @kristinr: basically, get your skills assessed first...saka yung IELTS exam din po...yung mga ganung requirements po kasi ang makakapagsabi kung madali kayong mabibigyan ng visa sa Australia 🙂

so kung mataas namn na ang points ng primary eh pwde ng hindi..

kung mag papa-skills assessment ang secondary, required po ang IELTS..

kung hindi nmn mag papa-assess, eh pwede na po ang cert of english as medium of instruction kung college graduate.. otherwise, kailangan ng IELTS score 4.5 kung walang diploma ang secondary applicant..

Hindi na kailangan if hindi kayo magcclaim ng additional points (5 pts.) for partner skills. Ang kailangan lang ay Diploma and English as Medium of Instruction na certificate for your wife para no need to take English courses in AU once may CO na ma-assign (before visa grant). Basically, need to prove pa rin kase yung English competency ng spouse and that is via the diploma and Medium of Instruction. :-)

Hi guys, newbie lang po.

Hingi lang po sana ng advice kung ano ang best option ko po to work in Oz.

Less than 3years lang po ang work experience ko and I have an Aunt in Canberra who's willing to sponsore me. What type of visa po ba ang pinakabagay sakin? Student visa lang po ba? IT po pala ang profession ko.

@emboon Ang pagkakaalam ko atleast 4years of experience kapag nagpa assess ka sa ACS. itry mo icheck sa site nila kung nagbago na. pero nung nag paassess ko 4years solid experience kelangan. May ka officemate ko 3years din, pero hindi inapprove.

Icheck mo na lang diyan sa site kung ano latest.. kung may nagbago ba or kung pasok ka naman.

Sa skills assessment pala to, pag sa student visa hindi mo na siguro kelangan mag pa assess.

hi everyone! i just got the nomination document from the employer who will be sponsoring me. benefits include 4wks annuaul leave, compassionate/parental leave, 2wks personal carers leave, etc. ok na po ba yung gantong arrangement? i'm wondering kasi if the salary would be sufficient for us, a family of 3 (with a 2yr old toddler). sa sydney po yung location. thanks!

Wow i like the number of leaves provided hehe 🙂 4 weeks of leave pa lang is 20 days na, whereas normally 15 VLs lang. Yung sick leave meron din ba? 🙂

hi @stolich18! wala naman nakalagay explicitly for sick leave. i guess that will fall under personal carer's leave. 🙂

Congrats, @annie23! 🙂 I believe ok na yung 74K for a family of 3 na mag-sstart pa lang sa AU. Si hubby mo ba mag-wowork din kahit part time lang para may mag-aalaga pa din kay baby?
