@z3design basta declare mo lang lahat ng kelangan at huwag ka magdala ng mga prohibited na goods wala ka hassle sa airport pagdating. ung immigration passport lang ang hininge at sasabihan ka pa ng welcome to australia hehe

companies here prefer those with local experience; i don't know why kasi for some industries like IT and accountancy (pwera nalang sa taxation), these are so-called universal skills naman eh...

and yeah, your question - there are some companies that hires only citizen, mga gov't agencies (or contractors) ata ito that requires security clearances.
