JULY 2015 Visa 190 Applicants

Hi,

I've recently lodged my application for visa 190 under state nomination from SA. I submitted my application on July 13, 2015, and I'm wondering why there isn't a CO assigned to my case yet. How long does it usually take for the CO to be assigned?

We have already done our medical examinations at Point Medical in Paragon Singapore, and the clinic has informed us they will mail the results of the medical to Australia DIBP next week.

Has anyone had experience in applying for a COC in Singapore recently? What about NBI clearance? I understand you can have your fingerprints taken at the Philippine Embassy in Singapore, and then have a representative from the Philippines submit the application for you. Anyone with experience getting an NBI Clearance from Singapore recently?

It's too early...time frame to have CO is 6-8 weeks in average

As for SG COC, you can already apply then frontload it. Check the info here: <a href="http://www.spf.gov.sg/epc/cert_issued.htm">SG COC</a>

For NBI clearance, not sure with this. Maybe others can give input

Thanks Dantz. Did you have all your documents certified before uploading to DIBP for the visa application? I got mixed information, the official letter from DIBD says all documents must be certified, but according to some of our friends in this forum, they didn't have all documents certified but they didn't have any problems with their application. I guess I was too excited to lodge my application so I didn't have all my docs certified, only those I used for vetasses were certified. Do you think I may have a problem with this?

@kabre same here. Confused on that. For me, I have all certified kahit pati ung ACS results ko (Skill assessment). I think ok lang naman ang mix, sasabihin naman ni CO sayo if need nya na certified yung documents then you will have the chance to correct it. Just share here your experience so it can help others. Latest information are better.

thanks. nagbakasakali rin ako baka okay lang, mahal din kasi magpacertify ng documents dito sa Singapore. I think I spent over 200sgd the last time na magpacertify ako ng documents for VETASSESS...

How were you able to frontload Sg COC? I thought required na may letter dapat from DIBP requesting for a COC bago makapagapply?

@kabre need mo muna mag LODGED (means bayad ka muna) then may acknowledgment letter ka na makukuha thu email. Then yun ang ipprint mo pag apply mo ng SG COC.

question po for the photos - nakalagay sya as labelled - so meaning ung digital photo lalagyan lang ng name using paint or any other related software ng nasa photo? tama po ba?

Thanks Dantz, nakapag-lodge na ako at nakapagbayad na (aus $6,300 for me, wife and child..ouch). Are you saying tatanggapin sa Cantonement yung acknowledgement letter from DIBP na natanggap na nila visa application ko? Nakalagay kasi sa requirements for sg coc "a document from the relevant authority/immigration that such a document is required. I don't remember if it is mentioned in the acknowledgment letter na required an Sg coc so not sure kung pwede gamitin yun sa pagapply ng coc sa cantonement

@kabre yup yan na yun. nalito din ako dati about sa "a document from the relevant authority/immigration that such a document is required".

Pero yun acknowledgment lang ok na yun. Andun name nyong 3. Enough proof para sa inyong mag asawa.

Yan din ginamit namin.

Isipin mo na lang mas ok yun exchange rate nung sayo, mas mataas ang SGD ngyn, so mas nakamura ka hehe.

Hi Dantz, nasa au ka na pala? Kagabi lang ako kinontak ng CO ko, ininform nga ako na kulang pa ako ng NBI CLearance, this week pa lang kasi darating NBI Clearance namin from Manila. Ask ko lang sana... almost two months ago na nung ipadala sa IMMI nung clinic dito yung results ng medical check-up namin, pero hindi pa-rin na-uupdate sa immi account ko (see attached photo). Nung matanggap ko email ng CO kagabi, nagbigay ng checklist ng kulang na documents, nakalagay nga ang kulang ko na lang Police clearance from Philippines. Walang nabanggit tungkol sa medical. What do you think this means? Tingin mo pasado na kami sa medical at Police clearance na lang talaga ang kulang? Or does this mean hindi pa nila sinimulan ang assessment ng Medicals namin dahil kulang pa kami ng Police Clearance?? salamat sa reply..
