sa husband ko May 2 ako nag email sa SLEC para sa schedule ng sputum, May 4 sila nagreply and ang nagbigay na earliest available schedule for sputum collection ay June 26, 27 at 28 na.

Thank you po. So most probably pala baka July na ako ma sched. Kanina lang po ako nag email sa kanila and waiting pa din sa schedule na ibibigay. Sobrang tagal pala talaga plus yung pag culture pa na aabutin ng almost two months.
oo nga po, let's just hope and pray na negative naman ang results ng sputum and culture para no need for medications na 🙏🏻

Based on my personal experience, it will still depend on the doctor whether or not to instruct you to do medications.

Medications does not mean you have TB, it's just to make sure that anything found in your chest x-ray does not progress into something else or progress at all.

May nakita ring infiltrates sa chest x-ray ni hubby ko pero cleared na kami ni baby. I called St Luke's po at napakalyo n ng schedule n binigay nila samin. July 20 - 22. So meaning September pa yung result 😭

May iba pa po b kyong alam na clinic na accredited to collect samples for sputum test dito sa pinas? NHS Makati po sabi hindi sila accredited eh for sputum testing. Salamat po ng marami

@s3g3n same situation, infiltrates din issue ni hubby sa xray, july 18-20 naman yung sched na nakuha namin. I'm afraid wala na other clinics, i checked ung mga accredited and they all said irerefer lang din nila back to st lukes. Si hubby mo ba nagkasakit prior medical? Yung hubby ko had coughing spells 2weeks prior medical and actually visited a pulmo and was given antibiotics. Akala namin since nag antibiotics na sya and di na sya umuubo e di sya magkakaissue sa xray. In hindsight, we should have been more proactive kasi grabe yung delays pala.

Yesss grabe yung allergy ni mister prior that kasi highly allergic sya sa dust eh my construction dito sa bahay. You r right preho tyo ng iniisip it must be because of that. Sobrang delay talaga ito ang nakakaloka naman kasi ay yung tagal ng schedule na instead n tumatakbo n ung culture isolation eh sa July pa magsisimula.

Tumwag n nga rin ako kung saan saan and SLEC verified that they are the sole facility accredited for sputum test.

May magiging issue po ba sa Visa application kapag may Mild Thoracic Scoliosis sa x-ray? May pinapagawa po bang additional test?

Eto ung medyo pa letter C ung upper spinal cord. Pero no symptoms nmn. Kasi laging lumalabas sa x-ray ko kapag may annual health screening sa company. Pero wlang recommendation ang laging sinasabi mag stretching and exercise lng.

@Izanagi hi declare mo lng po pag ng medical ka ako my mild slip disc sa cervical spine dinala ko mri ko pero di naman check meron din ako operation sa left knee acl ask lng san ko nakuha sb ko former cheerleader/gymnast dati wala din cnabi un panelist bsta declare mo lng po sa physical exam mo wala naman mggng prob po.. 😀

Yes just bring lang po what you have regarding your medical conditions, as per X-Ray they mostly focus related to TB findings, because this is a high risk disease that can spread.

@Izanagi hello po wala po na ask si CO regarding medical namen kc after 10 days namen na receive un result -No action required pero during my medical ng remarks lng un panel dun na may mild slip disc ako.. so far ok naman result. Bsta declare mo lng po lahat minsan pag minor di n nila ilalagay dun sa remarks... Alam ko po super strict cla sa tb at hiv mga blood infection..

When i called, they confirmed that they already sent the results, and no other tests needed. They told me to just wait 5-10 working day for additional instructions (if any) from the "embassy."

Or Bupa submits to DHA, and then when a CO picks up your case (which may take months), it is only then that CO informs you that further testing is required.

The second scenario is my concern, since if indeed additional tests were needed, the wait time until my case gets picked up could have been used to do the additional testing.

Di na daw kami sasabihan if mag negative or positive ang culture nya, pero if for example negative, maclear ba sya or dahil sa nag bago ang xray nya, hindi maclear?

Hi @irl031816, di namin alam kasi we went with a migration agent, ask ko sya later if she can view, pero baka wala pa changes kasi inaantay pa namin results ng culture nya. Sana talaga negative. Yun lang, ang worry ko pag negative, baka dahil hindi stable yung radiographic result nya bilang nagimprove e pag gamotin pa din :/

Medyo no help din kasi yung panel physician, nagmamadali daw. Haha parang ang sabi, bahala na si DHA magdecide. So medyo anxious kami.
