Ask ko lang paano kung hindi mo naideclare? Pwede pa kaya ihabol na madevlare na nagkaprimary complex. Wala kasi sa unang medical exam.

Hi parang my konting simillarity ng case natin, ang issue ko is regarding my stepson's xray result na my scar both lungs nya. Xray done at st. Lukes bgc forwarded to dibp feb 27, and status was further assesment and wait for instructions. Until now wala pa kami narerecive na instruction from them kung mag sputum ba or retake ng xray. My questions are:

Since hindi naman sya migrating with us meron kaya consideration that he don't need to undergo further test na?
Pwede kaya namin iwithdraw ang application nya as a dependent non migrating sa visa application namin at this point sa kabila ng issue sa xray nya since ang plano naman namin ay tapusin nya muna ang high school dito sa Pinas which is 2019 pa sya gagraduate. BTW he is not considered dependent to me as he is studying in a boarding/ live-in school called The Sisters of Mary Schools Boystown, the school provides clothing, shelter, food, medical care and good quality secondary education all free of charge.
How did you ask your CO to remove or withdraw your husband from your visa application? Did you send email?

Guys, may nakaexperience na ba sa inyo na meron daw suspicious findings sa xray? Wala naman akong medical history of any sorts and clear naman yung previous xrays ko. Nagsubmit na din ako ng old xray film for comparison daw. Ano kaya possible ipagawa ng dibp tungkol dito?

@aiayosef hi nabasa ko sa isang comment mo about you withdraw your hubby because of medical issue, may i ask how did you do it? Sa case kasi namin yung step son ko na dependent non-migrating ay for further test kc my scar both lungs nya. My medical, Wife and daughter all cleared. Could you please tell me if you don't mind how did you withdraw your hubby from your application. I did email my CO 12 days ago asking for assistance if we can withdraw my stepson, reason is he is not actually dependent to me dahil he's enrolled to a School where it provides food, shelter, clothing, medical care and secondary education all free of charge sa buong secondary education from 2014 to 2019. 2nd reason is the school does not allow him to do the test dahil meron naman sila sariling doctor sa school nila. Up to now wala pang reply.

@amiyabrielle hello po. Ung akin po kasi nahold ung visa grant ko dahil iniintay ung result ng further examination nya. May nakita kasi opacity sa right lung nya. Usually kpag may something lang sa xray suspected TB npo kasi ang findings nila jan. Bale may nag email po sa akin from Bupa Medical services kasi cla ata ang may hawak ng migration. Ask nila sputum test, sputum culture and follow-up xray. Bale pti po ung status ng HAP account nya may lumabas na need further test. Kya nagpaappointment npo kmi s St Lukes din ng sputum test. Ang sputum test po 3 days, nagnegative nman sya pero need dumaan sa sputum culture which is 8 weeks then xray ulit. That time malelate nko sa commencement ng class ko. IDP po kasi agent ko so eto rin po ung sinabi ko reason sa knila then cla npo ang nagcontact at nkipag usap sa immigration. Ang suggestion po ng immigration iwithdraw ung sa husband ko. Pinagawa po ako ng written withdrawal with pirma ng husband ko then IDP na nagsend sa immigration

@aiayosef thank you for your kind reply, same with my stepson for sputum test din sya sa St. Lukes kaya lang ang dahilan kung bakit namin gusto iwithdraw ay hindi sya pwede lumabas sa school para magpa sputum well hindi pa naman namin natatry na ipaalam pero base sa sinabi sa amin na rules ng school bago sya pumasok doon ay allowed lang lumabas sa scheduled bakasyon which is nitong feb 12-26 kaya napa medical ko sya at pg my relatives lang n pumanaw dapat my death cert, nakabalik n kasi sya when i recieved d email from BUPA na need nya mag sputum.. wala nmn sya any symptoms ng TB at hindi nmn na sya sakitin pwera lang nun baby/ toddler sya medyo madalas sya ubuin but never sya nadiagnose n my TB. Yun ang dahilan namin kaya gusto namin iwithdraw baka hindi sya payagan at natatakot din ako kc both lungs my scar right upper zone my opacities at left upper zone my fibrosis. Sobrang nakaka stress lang, DIY lang application namin, i was thinking of consulting MARA agent na kung wala pang reply sa email ko from CO next week..

@amiyabrielle bka po pde itry nyo po ask ung school. Bka din po kasi wait ng immigration further test ng son ninyo bgo nila ilabas decision application nyo since magkksma po kau sa paper. Ung husband ko din po suspected nmin bka nung bata sya na ubuhin ang dahilan ng opacity ng right lung nya since negative sya sa TB. Bale ung sputum po 3 early mornings po sya. From olongapo po kmi kya stay sya near st lukes ng mga days na un. Then bumalik po siya after 8 weeks for the sputum culture result (need po iculture sputum kahit negative and result) and final chest xray. Then after po nun mga 2 weeks bago sya nabigyan health clearance ng BUPA. Kpag ayaw po tlga ng school nya bka po need nyo na agent. Sa experience ko po kasi, hirap macontact immigration.

@amiyabrielle normal procedure ng bupa pag may nkita n scar or something s lungs ay sputum test agad. Kaya wag ka mag aalala. Basta gusto lng nila malaman kung may active TB b talaga o wla ung pinapatest nila. Kaya wla magagawa ung mga nag aapply kundi sumunod s procedure n gusto ng bupa. Kaya dont worry kung wla nmn TB c stepson. Un lng 3 consecutive mornings ung sputum at mag wwait ka ng 2mos for sputum culture plus 10working days para sa pag process ng st lukes para s pag upload ng result s emedical.

Update lang sa case ng stepson ko, the CO replied finally unfortunately hindi naaayon sa wish namin. CO replied stepson is unable to be ‘withdrawn’ from my application as he is a member of my family unit. So yung wife ko went to my stepson School and beg them to let him come out for the sputum test at first they asked her to just exit him as its not fair daw for other student but talagang hindi tumigil c wife na makiusap sa kanila buti na lang yung nurse dun alam ang proseso ng australia immigration dahil he is trying din dw to apply. So sya ang nag explain sa Superior ng School & Principal. So ayun pumayag na sila next week April 3 kunin c stepson Sunday night then return him Wednesday 12pm. Pero ang problema naman namin ngayon c Saint Lukes ay fully booked na for next week para sa sputum test 18 April na lang ang available dates. Then we informed the School, at ang sabi ipapaalam ulit namin kung papayag pa sila.. *sigh grabe hirap, the struggle is real.

Also, we have not been assigned a CO yet but I am just preparing in advance.

@Tabs , you need to go back to Nationwide, bibigyan nila kayo ng referral sa St. Lukes Ermita, they will explain to you mga details. You should have received email from Nationwide, or call them up.

Hi All,

Anyone here have the chest xray scar results just recently? Need to know how many months pending time on sputum tests or timeline for the specimen culture. I saw in the earlier posts having 2 months. Do we have someone with the same issue on the last 6-12 months?

I just want to share my condition. I dont know if I have acquired PTB before. But as per xray during my APEs in my current company. I always have that findings in my lungs with fibrous spots on specific areas. My pulmo doctor didnt endorse me for any tests. Since there were no changes on the size and location of these fibrous areas based on my xray films for the past 5 years. So basically they are already scars.

With these, do you guys think in my visa application they will require sputum and specimen culture?

Even if we have xray films for the past 5years that there are no changes on the fibrous spots and pulmo from medical city cleared it as non- active.

Hi all. I hope someone can answer my question or had the same situation before. Negative sputum culture ng daughter ko after 2 months of waiting. She had a repeat xray last week but the problem is hindi sya binigyan ng clearance dahil nagimprove ang xray nya. According sa pulmo, nabawasan ang pagka blurred ng xray. Dapat daw ay same pa rin. Recommendation nila ay repeat xray after 3 months or wait for immi sa sasabihin nila. We are so anxious right now, it's gonna be another 3 months pag nagkataon. Wala pa kame narereceive na email from BUPA. Did anyone have the same situation like ours? Nagrepeat xray po ba ulit kayo? Salamat po

Hi all, I just completed my medicals at SLEC last tue. It was quick, we arrived at 9am and completed around 10am. The attending nurse quickly discussed that the results are normal except for the xray that they will be comparing since I brought an old film taken last year. This will take like 2-3 days for the pulmo to review.

Just this morning I called SLEC and they mentioned that pulmo already completed the review and there were findings in which they are not allowed to share, they will also be uploading the results this week. Not a surprise from my end since recent APE from my company showed small scar in my lungs.

Through this forum I am aware of the sputum test and the lengthy 8weeks culture. My question is, when will they advise to do the culture? Is it CO contact first and refer me to MOC or even before CO, global health can advise me to do the sputum?? Please let me know which comes first. I just dont want to waste time waiting when I can do parallel tests while idle. Thanks to all

hi @Shakespeare23 sa case ni wife kasi nakita na ng clinic na meron nako scar, inumpasahan na right away ang sputum test at culture pra lumalakad na ang 8weeks. then once ngkaroon kmi ng CO na required ni wife mg undergo atleast konting time nlng hntayin nyo. Hope it helps.

Hi @teamevangelista ! Thanks for the response. I really appreciate it. I already did my sputum early this month. So 8 weeks waiting already started plus the repeat xray. It will come in God's time. Now, i'm keeping myself busy at work muna. 🙂

Thanks @teamevangelista . Negative ako sa smear on the 3rd day of sputum and will be back mid october in SLEC for the culture results. Pinakita rin ng doctor yung current xray ko and nanghinayang ako kasi minimal to wala na pala scar, yung naging basis is yung dinala ko from last year na xray from our APE na during that time nagka pneumonia siguro ako. ouch! Pabibbo kasi. Hahaha. Anyway, again it happens for a reason 🙂
