Work Pass lang. Pag lumabas yung sputum at naging positive dun pakang ifoforward case ko sa MOH. Kasi papadalhan lahat ng mga close contact ko ng letter na mag screen din sila. May TB ako and naggagamot na. Pero pag active yung TB ko yun ung kinakatakutan ko.

Bibigyan ka ng letter na hindi ka pwedeng tanggalin kasi naggagamot kana. Pero kung nalaman nila na may TB ka sa pass renewal, yan ata yung nawawalan ng pass.

Yup, same here. work pass din.

hindi ka naman tatanggaling as long as hindi pa renewal ng pass mo.

Just wait for the Officer, sasabihin naman nila kung kailangan pa ulit yung medical kasi expired na.
For my case, we lodge last March 2019 and got CO asking to do exam ulit kasi nga ay case ako ng TB infection because of my housemate. Seems its only valid for 6 months if you have history of TB. Submitted my new medical last Oct 8 and got the grant after 2 weeks.

Pwede po mag ask if kakatapos lang treatment mabibigyan ka po kaya ng health clearance ng st. Lukes? Thanks po

@kassiamm Actually hindi po si St. Lukes ang magcclear ng medical exam po, kundi si BUPA. The panel physician will only perform the necessary tests required and will submit their recommendation to BUPA who in turn will provide the clearance.

In our case po kasi, after my wife's treatment and upon submission of treatment certification ni Panel Physician, hindi pa po siya naclear agad. PinagSputum and Culture po ulet siya upon the advise of BUPA kaya it took us additional 3 months pa before we received her medical clearance.

@kassiamm Sa SG po nagpamedical si misis, while she was given the option where she would like to have the treatment for her convenience. Pero ung treatment lang naman po yun. Dun lang po siya nagtake ng medicines. Upon completion po ng medication, she reported back to the panel physician who ran the remaining test (Chest X-ray) before submitting to BUPA. Afterwards, nirequire ni BUPA na magconduct ng Sputum and Culture po ulet as I've said earlier.

Hello to all, ask ko lang po if sino po naka experience mag TB treatment for 6months pero hindi po sa SLEC(St. Lukes Extension Clinic) nag trratment? Thank you po!

Hi @corrappyka_CE sabi ng doctor ko na nagclear sa sputum ko na ako daw ang magsesend ng results ng sputum sa BUPa. Confused ako kasi ang alam ko sila magsesend nun hindi ako. Panu kaya yun?

@A_GA2AU Yung doctor po ba na nagclear sa inyo ung panel physician? If not, you need to get the results and submit it to the original panel physician. Sa case kc namin, ung panel physician is Quest Laboratories SG, then tinuro kame sa Tan Tock Seng Hospital to perform the sputum smear and culture, then si Tan Tock Seng Hospital na ang nagsubmit back kay Quest Laboratories nung result. Si QL na ang actual nagsend ng results kay BUPA.

Ang clinic po namin ay yung Paragon. Tapos sinend kami sa Tan tock seng for sputum and smear. So pag binigay sakin yung results. Ibibigay ko ba ulit sa Paragon?

Hi guys. Ayaw isend ng Point medical yung results ko hanggat diko daw natatapos yung treatment ko. Magiging okay lang ba yun? Hindi ba dapat isend ko kasi delayed na nga sa 3 months ung results e.

sa Point Medical (Paragon - Orchard) din ako dati. mga 2013 pa. mataas ang BP (135/100) ko. kaya na-hold din ang Medicals ko. pinag-maintenance ako tapos balik after 1.5 months then chineck nila ulit. after noon lang nila nirelease yung medicals ko sa DIBP (Home Affairs na ngayon). ok lang naman. approved naman 189 visa ko.

Mas marami akong nakikitang cases na kahit nag exceed na 12 months ang medicals, hindi pinaulit at naka receive ng Direct Grant 🙂

Im currently on visitor visa, and yung medical ko is 4 months pa from expiry. However, nung naglodge napo ako ng 482 TSS onshore, pinapagmedical ako ulit. Maybe because I have a history of TB and I was treated for 6months.

Please share your insights po sa outcome kapag po ganitong pinapaulit and may TB history. Thanks po!! 😊😊😊

That I’m not sure kung same ang medicals ng tourist sa TSS. Kasi magkaiba usually ang medicals ng temporary residents vs permanent (may additional tests therefore mas mahal ng slight).

And since you mentioned the TB, I can’t answer this :wink:
