I am planning to tour in AU but plan to look for job as well mga 1-2 month pde ako magstay. I am non cpa accountant by profession grad with 10yrs experiences in general ledger and payroll. @bsingson63 Hindi pedeng mag apply ng anumang trabaho ang tourist visa holder. Walang employer na kukuha sa'yo maliban na lang yung "under the table". Kaso pag nahuli ka, ipapadeport ka at never ka ng makakabalik sa Australia. I suggest na apply ka ng permanent resident visa or student kung gusto mong makahanap ng trabaho sa accounting. oks.

Smart Casual is fine. Also check the company website, sometimes they post marketing stuff specially employee testimonials. You can check their dress code from that.

Hello! I've been here sa melbourne for more than 4mos na. Hirap pla makahanap ng work kahit nka-PR status. Any tips or suggestions po regarding sa paghahanap? Salamat in advance. 🙂

@benztf some tips I could recommend:

Brush up your CV in Australian format that is brief in format (2-3 pages only)
Network with same level of profession to gain colleagues as you are
Gain local experience mean time. You could volunteer in your area/community to start
Take online skill cards or study on line quick courses to upskill yourself to job market
I highly recommend to gain your full state driving license. Really an advantage.

I am as same as you are - a PR status when I arrived (here in WA, Perth). 🙂

@jedh_g maraming salamat sa tips. Im currently revising nga again my cv. May nabasa kc ako regarding Applicant Tracking System used ng mga recruiters. I'll take bote of your other suggestions.

Regarding sa quick courses, dapat ba na sa big universities kunin, like rmit? Im thinking kc of taking elecrrician course pero ang tagal matapos, 2 yrs. 🙁
