@sunflower Ok lang yan. Kunwari di mo pa alam yung mga do's and don'ts para kunwari may matutunan ka. hehe saka ok yata yung CFO sticker/stamp sa passport. I-enjoy mo lang.

dadaan din tayo lahat diyan sa CFO na iyan dahil requirement. Basically orientation lang naman siya about life of being a migrant sa bansang pupuntahan mo. I don't know if it really helps pero kaialangan eh. Para siyang OEC ng isang OFW pero mabuti at isang beses mo lang siya kukunin.

actually ganyan dapat sana gagawin namin para sa next na paguwi ng Pinas saka kami kukuha ng CFO pero uwi na muna daw kami para makapag spend time with family and friends before the big move. So far wala naman problema kasi problema lang yung CFO kapag galing ka sa atin at wala kang stamp.

Kung nasa ibang bansa ka then nag Initial Entry ka straight to AU. Tapos umuwi ka ng PH. No need for CFO sticker dahil meron ka nang tatak ng AU.

Pero if dito ka sa PH manggagaling para mag Initial Entry sa AU, hahanapan ka ng CFO sticker.

Yung brother-in-law ko na nag migrate from SG to AU. Ilang beses na umuwi dito sa PH at bumalik ng AU pero di naman sya nag attend ng PDOS.

May fee ba yung CFO? How about if you have a 2-yr old child, need ba na kasama sa seminar?

@Liolaeus, lurker ako dito kasi inaabangan ko ang grant mo. Kasi ayw kong mag expect ng grant until hindi pla clear ang Sept and Oct batch. Hopefully nareceive mo na talaga soon.

Hindi na required mag-seminar ang 2 years old. 🙂

Basically from 0-12 pati 60 years and above ay exempted na. 13-19 years old Peer Counseling Session and aattendan and then 20-59 years old ang aattend ng PDOS.

Anyway, batchmates, share ko lang yung experience ko sa PDOS. I arrived in CFO around 12:30 pm. I had to get a queue number from the entrance. On my turn, they verified my documents on the counter, then I paid the P400.00 fee. That took about an hour. Around 1:30 pm, I proceeded to the PDOS venue (same building). Then they showed migration videos while we were waiting. (There were only 8 of us in the room! To think na halong Australia and New Zealand na yun.) At 2:06 pm, our speaker, Mr. Allan Ducusin, came and discussed the following: (1) Pre-Departure (2) Settlement (3) Country Profile (4) Citizenship (5) Dual Citizenship. Seminar ended at 4:20 pm.

Based on experience, the things mentioned in the seminar were important. It will be useful for people who haven't done any research on expectations yet. But for the others, just go with the flow nalang. Do come at least an hour and a half earlier than the seminar because the queue for the verification of documents is long. 🙂

Hi! Wala pa kong ticket eh. Pero ang deadline ng initial entry ko ay July 2016, so sometime before that. And then sa Brissie ko target mag-land and mag-settle. 🙂

Worst case scenario kung ma-hold nga sila na nag-initial entry from another country tapos bumalik sa Pinas, meron namang CFO booth sa airport for those instances. 🙂

Weird lang. Pano kaya nakalusot yung brother-in-law ko at wife nya.. more than 5 times na sila nag pabalik balik dito so far in the last 2 years. Nagkataon kayang hindi malinaw yung rule nila na yun sa PH immigration? Merong nag hahanap at meron din namang hindi nag hahanap ng CFO sticker pag may AU entry na.

Hello 🙂 meron na bang nagsecure ng travel tax exemption from TIEZA? Parang less Php 1,620 yung cost ng ticket na issued out Manila (Manila to elsewhere)?
