Hi @sunflower great hear that, anu un welcome kit, physical mail or documents ba ito? Ang nakuha ko lang kagabi is email confirming my submission, walang sms yet.
Base sa research ko dito sa forum, me mga nagmemention na mas mahal ang selling rate ng AUD sa banks when compared to remittance companies like iRemit or Western Union. Once makausap mo un BPI and they give you the rate for Php to Aud on a given day, you can email iRemit to get their selling rate for the same day at corpsales@iremit-inc.com. If the rates are significantly different, then we can choose the better rate. I plan to do this comparison next week or so.
Please note that I have NOT done this myself, and cannot vouch for iRemit, etc just yet however @TasBurrfoot who is one of the moderators shared her experience using the iRemit approach in the other thread talking about how to bring money to Oz.

Email lang rin yung sinend saakin, batchmate!
Ahhhh ganun ba? Sobrang laki daw ba ng difference ng BPI pati iRemit or Western Union? Kasi kung hindi naman, I think I'll still opt for the bank route para hindi ako maglalabas at all ng pera.
Pero anyway, sige dadaan ako ng BPI nalang mamaya. I'll also try to do my own research hehe.
