Inassume ko lang na yung difference ng exchange rate yung fee. Unless meron pang ibang service fees on top.

Direct wire transfer exchange rate: PHP 250,000 / 35 = AUD 7143

Lower exchange rate from others: PHP 250,000 / 34 = AUD 7353

AUD 7353 - AUD 7143 = AUD 210

AUD 210 x 34 = <b>PHP 7140</b>

Nag-transfer lang ako agad ng money kasi at least mas nag-eearn yung dollars ko habang naka-upo dun sa iSavers account hehe. Sa first four months kasi 2.5% ang interest sa NAB. Anyway, to answer your questions:

Yes, may charge yung receiving fee. From what I understand, depende yun kung magkano yung sinend mong money. Less than 7000 AUD yung sinend ko and then mga 15 AUD yung fee na kinuha ng NAB.
Kung naka-check yung online banking sayo nung nag-register ka, pwede mo ma-view yung money mo. So ako, nag-opt ako for online banking. After less than 24 hours, natransfer na agad yung money from BPI and viewable na siya agad dun sa online account.

Yun ang maganda dun. Transfer agad para mag earn ng interest. May nabasa ko dito nag earn na agad ng $50 in 2 months. Kung dito sa pinas 250 pesos ata pinaka malaki ko na earn. Per quarter pa yun.

Update! May HAPID na baby ko. Kaka send lang ng CO. Medical na kami bukas. Sure na haha.

@Liolaeus ahh ok gets, ito is comparing the exchange rate (selling side) of a bank transfer versus a different source (another bank or maybe a remmittance service). Excluding ung service fees pa.

Yup ganun nga at kung malaki yung service fee ng ibang banks or remittance center, baka umabot din ng 7k yung total loss. Kung ganun, direct bank to bank na lang siguro para safe at mabilis tulad kay @sunflower. I don't want to dwell on it too much kasi mababawi din naman yan agad sa AU. Think of every loss as an investment. hehe Patulong na lang pag may grant na kami. XD
