I have a friend back in SG who's planning to go to AU din. They're getting help from this SG agency. Not really sure how it goes about though.

We tried before umattend ng mga seminars about migrating s agency,but we decided to apply on our own...ngpa-assess nko mejo ngkproblema lang...final plan nmin,student Visa...intay kami ng visa,hopefully maging ok at umabot kmi ng august Intake s Asia Pacific international College and CRICOS sya. Nabanggit mo nun una di okay un College as a school. APIC naman after graduation tulungan k nila s pghhnap ng work and 7K tuition/sem. Kinuha pla ng Hubby ko Master Business in Project Management 2years.

hear about TAFE? TAFE schools priority nila dito graduates, pero ms ok un university mahal naman ng tuition fees.

Actually ako din on my own na. I tried using this education agency pero parang they gave me the impression na they're not helping. Well at least maybe for the counsellor I had lang. The counsellor said kasi na hindi na daw aabot for July intake, eh nun ako naman gumawa both University and College umabot. Parang quits lang naman ang Uni at college. Either way, the only goal is to get a job.

I'm not sure with TAFE, parang vocational education ata inooffer nila. Pero I know people who took courses there, and okay naman naging PR naman sila. I guess it all boils down to how you do your job. Sympre tayong mga galing sa SG we kinda know how it works na - how to work and live abroad so siguro may edge na tayo kahit papano. And I really believe na Filipinos abroad do their job very well talaga.

And yes, sobrang mahal talaga sa University. Yun MA ko, mga 11k AUD per sem, tapos 2k per sem yun nakuha ko scholarship eh hello mahal padin.

If I were you, i would study diploma in nursing or diploma in Network Engineering or any ICT Courses in any community colleges or TAFE. Mas mura ang tuition then may guarantee na makakakuha ka ng apprenticeship program at pwede kang ma-absorb ng company to 457 visa to permanent.

Hindi naman dito pagandahan ng school. Bakit kaming mga philippine university graduate, nagagawan ng paraan na gumanda ang resume. Dapat yung skill mo dito ay employable para makakuha ng work.

@adelaide_boi Oo nga eh,sana nag ICT course nalang ako. Kaya lang na-enroll ko na. Nahirapan din kasi ako maghanap ng community colleges before. Kasi initially, Uni talaga gusto ko. Kaya nun nagdecide ako na college nalang, yun BBC una ko naisip kasi dun din nagaaral yun isa kong friend.

Nako yan exactly sinabi ko sa tita kong eps. Na it's not about your school. Sa skills yan talaga. Pero wait, ang preschool teacher naman in demand din diba? Yun talaga balak ko, study a different course pero get employed in a school, then hopefully i-sponsor ng company.

advise naman guys, PT ang course ko sa pinas and i'm planning to enroll this coming feb of 2013 kasi di na ako makakahabol this coming july. ano ba ang mga dapat kong gawin para ma grant ang student visa application ko? nag aaplay nga pala ako thru IDP Manila..

@aemond try to search for schools na meron na course na gusto mo, then look for list of requirements sa DIAC website it differ, pag bachelors or masters degree i think Subclass 573 un pag vocational courses its 572, then complete all the required docs, like credentials from previous schools, certi.of employment if ever employed before or still an employee, statutory declaration of support ng mag sponsor sau and all his/her bank statements or accounts on a specified amount depending on your chosen course, ü

To all student visa applicants. Don't rely on migration agents or IDP Manila. Remember that they are profit-oriented entities that have a target revenue quota every year. Better to make your own research across the board. Use all the available resources, internet, networks, forums, etc.

Choose the course which is significantly EMPLOYABLE and choose REGIONAL AREA. Aside from cheap tuition, and very affordable standard of living (food and basic services are cheaper compared to big cities), there is an additional 5 migration points for living in regional area.

Most employable skills: NURSING (diploma in nursing), ICT (diploma in network engineering), Aged Care (certificate III in Aged Care)

Kapag yan ang mga kinuha nyong courses, siguradong makakapag apprenticeship kayo at baka ma-absorb kayo ng company.

By the way, under construction ngayon ang isa sa pinakamalaking hospital sa adelaide located at west terrace. Next year siguradong mag ha-hire sila ng napakaraming nurses and other medical practitioners.

Hi Beaj, ask ko lang about streamlined visa processing. May nabasa kasi ako dito: http://migrationblog.immi.gov.au/2012/03/29/further-knight-review-changes-to-the-student-visa-program/ na yung 42 partner universities lang ang pwede. Colleges lang din sana ako mag enroll para medyo mura lang ang tuition. 2 years course. Have you availed of the streamlined visa process?

We Welcome this changes , but what if a student is enrolled in a Bachelor degree in a buisness partner with the university for example student have a COE from MIT who is a institue affiliated with university of Ballarat , will be subjected to streamlined visa processing or no ?

Thanks for your question. The short answer is no.

In your example above, a student enrolled in Bachelor degree at MIT would not be eligible for streamlined visa processing arrangements because MIT is not a university. @knight Not really sure ha. Pero from what I understand from all the things that I've read and from what you posted, is that the streamlined visa processing is DIAC's decision given that your school is among the list of universities and business partners that are eligible BUT under these conditions: your course in the college should be a prerequisite course leading to a degree,grad. diploma, grad. cert. in a University. Tapos dapat you have written proof that you are indeed continuing your studies in a Uni.

So technically nga, parang hindi din eligible yun business partners for streamlined visa processing. That means, ako din! hahahah

Pero, yun nga as long as you submit all the necessary documents and you provide evidence na you can support yourself whilst studying there, I think everything will go well.

Wait, my iaadd ako. I'm not an expert on this, pero feeling ko eligible yun Tim since bachelor's degree siya. Pero yun nga, in the end kasi, you still have to go through the whole application i.e. submit the necessary documents to support your application. So regardless, if whether you know na which assessment level you are in, you still have to do the same thing as what others are doing.

Hmmm.. Siguro. Kasi technically, kapag from Philippines, tapos VET course i.e. 572 subclass kukunin mo, Assessment level 3 ka. Level 1 yung pinakamataas.
