i have read in one of the pinoy forums said that CO will going to call for an interview if they are not really satisfied if the student is genuine..is that really true?

Hello everyone. Im a newbie here. Ive been to Sydney & Gold Coast last month for a 2 weeks vacation. My fiancee & I, really enjoyed our stay there & would love to move there early next year po sana. My friends encouraged me to take Nursing coz in demand daw sya sa Aussie & ok ang salary. I'm a tourism grad & been working for almost 5 years dito sa Sg; so, its totally dff kind of field if ever I pursue nursing. I went to IDP Open Day last week, there were dff booths from universities & colleges from dff States of Australia. I've applied at Sydney Technology University for bachelor of Nursing (3yrs) & at Sydney Tafe for Nursing - Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing Diploma Course (1.5yr).

Does anyone familiar to the above mentioned course sa Tafe? If I finish this Diploma course, can I apply for any related nursing job sa Australia, kahit assistant nurse muna? I prefer to take Diploma course muna to have a feel what it feels like to be a nurse. I dont want to base it kc sa mga sinasabi lng ng mga tao, I wanted to have the first hand experience to find out whether nursing is really for me. And besides, its cheaper & shorter compare to Bachelor of Nursing.

@yukishih nurse din po kau? bridging program po kau sa deakin? what po kinuha nyo? di ko po makita yung related sa bridging program.yung course po doon bachelor in nursing. medyo like ko n po kasi magstart kasi sayang IELTS ko ayoko n po magtake ulit.

Reply to @noynoy: yep, if ever there is something with the application that they need to clarify. Like in my case, med tech grad ako but ang kukunin ko na course sa oz ay hospitality management. she wanted to know why ang layo ng kukunin kong course.

Reply to @japs: Yep, im a nurse. I took the bachelor of nursing - credit prior learning which will run for a year. Anung gusto mo yung 1 year ba? Ganito gawin mo sis, send your documents na sa aphra since yung ielts mo ayos na tapos enroll ka na sa school check mo ETEA if they dont require eligibility from aphra enroll ka na para pagrelease ng eligibility mo tapos ka na ng bridging then submit mo yung certification that you completed the course na then wait mo na lang reg mo.

ETEA po ba means Education, training & employment australia? sige po check ko kasi yun walalabas ng bridging program.mayhinahabol kasi kami na reassessment from ANMAC 2 yrs yung validity kaya need ko mabilis lang po so bridging program po kukunin ko. hahanapp poako ng sobrang laki funds for DIAC requirements.

question lang po re: CTC: Ayoko pong magkamali kasi ipapauwi ko lang sa Pinas yung mga documents ko para ipanotaryo at ipapadala dito ulit. In short, mejo mahal po.hehehe. ANyway, kasi when I was checking the websites of the Universities I want to apply, kahit initial assessment, they want na notarized/certified yung documents. Marami silang sinabi like it should have the stamp,name,signature,address,phone number of the person to notarize and it should also have a sentence like this, "this is the certified true copy of..." Talaga po bang ganun ang kailangan? YUng mga nag apply na, kailangan po talaga na ganun ang ilagay na info sa certified true copy documents nila? When I was in the Phils kasi before, stamp, sign lang ang ginagawa nila eh. That was like 4 years ago pa po..

Reply to @sisa16: hello, yes visa granted. will be leaving this friday. I just answered her na even if medical technology graduate ako, never ko napractice ang course ko. Base sa employment history ko, customer service industry ang napasukan ko so I chose a course na gusto ko talaga.

Reply to @Robbie1977: Health Undertaking is an agreement between you and the AU government that you will have follow-up health examination once you arrived in AU...

this is required for those applicants with health conditions (like exposed to TB, hepa and etc)..

hi everyone! I'm a newbie here. Ask ko lang, kinakabahan na ako kasi nag text sakin ang AIR21 na ipapadala nila today yung courier coming from the Australian Embassy. 2 weeks ago lang ako nagpa medical and I was expecting for them to notify me kung kelan nila need yung NSO request since hindi na sila natanggap ng hard copy from the applicant. Pero hindi sila nag request 🙁 mukhang may decision na sila... and wala din kami call na natanggap from them. nung una via email lang ang communication ko with the embassy so ineexpect ko kung may noti man na bago, via email.

grabe na yung kaba ko... possible ba na may decision na kahit 2 weeks ago pa lang yung medicals ko tapos wala na hiningi sakin pati NSO tapos may ipapadala na sila via courier? ano kaya yung pinadala nila 🙁 Grabe nilalagnat nako sa kaba....

any suggestion? opinion? same case? salamat ng marami...

Oo naman. Puede yon. Granted yan. Yung friend ko din ngayon yung delivery ng air 21 kaso wala sya kaya mas lalong pamatay di ba. Hahaha. TV nga lang yung kanya. Pati ako kinakabahan sa result ng application nya. Sa tuesday pa nya pinapadeliver ulit kasi yun pa lang dating nya from the province.

pag nag pa medical po ba wala ng gagawin after non, kundi maghintay nalang po update via email? balak ko po kasi puntahan mother ko abroad, after ng medical.. matagal ko na po kasi sya di nakakasama kaya na eexcite nadin po ako.. iniisip ko lang baka po kasi may kailangan pa ko gawin.. hinahabol ko lang po kasi yung time baka pwede .. thanks po sa mag-rereply

@Yukishih salamat sa reply! ansaya saya ko! granted na din visa ko =) thank God! super bait nya talaga. Naku, sana visa granted din yung friend mo. sayang wala sya to receive the letter. I lodged my papers nung August 18, 2012 then received ng Embassy ng August 22. I took my medicals nung August 24 then na send na nila sa embassy ng August 31. Then September 6, 2012 granted na ang visa ko 🙂 pero nakarating sakin yung letter September 8 na hehe. So all in all, it only took 2 weeks and 5 days before the decision was made. Ang bilis!! I'll be praying for the applicants who are still currently waiting for their approval 🙂 Just trust the Lord and it will be given to you. 🙂

@nj87 student visa din ba in-apply mo? after medical usually wait ka lang 1 week kung may ipapagawa pa na ibang test syo. pag wala ka na receive in a week, most probably ok na yung local screening mo pero discretion pa din ng embassy yung evaluation. wait ka until 2 weeks for the completion of medicals. usually they will email you kung meron pa sila ibang docs na hihingin syo. Good luck in your application! sana makita mo na si mom mo and be with her again. Pray and trust God, it will be granted 🙂
