Hello... I'm a newby.. thank God na grant andin ang visa 190 ko after 4 mos.. exactly Oct. 21, 2015..mixed emotion ....acctg grad ako pero mostly internal audit and job exposure ko...advise naman please hirpa po ba makapag carrer change to acctg from audit..?

Wala pa din invite. May pag asa kaya talagang ma invite ang 60 pts? As per my agent, ok na daw ang pts ko kasi sabi ko mag tatake ako ng pte to increase my score. Ngayon parang sana nagtake ako..

Sept 9 po @ed_lupit. Oo nga may mga 60 pts na invite. Medyo nakakaworry lang kasi down ang AU ngayon so baka biglang magbago ang policy nila sa inviting. Hindi ko tuloy alam kung dapat bang mag take ako ng PTE-A. 0 pts kasi ang sa IELTS eh.

@farviewlang- congrats..why do you need to change career?.Yung grant is just for you to have a visa.. You can still follow what ever your experience in applying a job in oz..

@andylhen- if money is not an issue..try PTE-A. If everyhing goes well, that would entitle you to have an additional 10 or 20 points. Automatic invite ka na nyan. Keep praying maiinvite ka din nyan.

Thanks @ed_lupeet. Based sa nababasa ko sa kabilang forum, may pag asa nga na mainvite ang 60 pts na naglodge ng EOI from Aug 17 till Sep.

@MisterKehn - I was about to book the exam for Oct 3 last Sept to be ready in case that EA will not award me with the 8 yrs work experience I am claiming. Many exam dates are still open during that time, but I got the positive assessment for EA giving me 60 pts which my agent decided to lodge my EOI. I asked her if I can still take the PTE-A to atleast give it a try if I can have an additional points. According to her, even if I take the exam or not, I will still be invited. So the constraint now is not about the money, but the time since Pearson Makati is fully booked until end of this year. I just hope that November will be the time to be invited.

Nagbabasa din ako sa kabilang forum, madami pang 60 pts na nakapila that were lodge last Aug. 17 until Sept 30. Kung walang masyadong 65 pts na maglolodge, may pag asa na mainvite na tayo for the 1st round of November. Good luck sa atin.

@andylhen hold on lng tau..well get there! 🙂 60 pts din ako..i have faith well be invited this year. sa mga manual trackers sa ibang forum wla naman masyado engineering na nag l lodge. lahat ng 65 pointers usually invited agad. so 60 shouldnt be that far 🙂

Hi guys! Just wanna ask if ever ndi makakuha ang dependent ko (wife) ng police clearance sa previous country kung san siya nag work, pwede ba magsubmit ng Staturoty declaration in place for a police clearance.

I am planning to lodge for a visa 189 next month. The only document lacking is her police clearance. She worked in Maldives 9 years ago. As a rule you have to provide police clearance for all the countries you stayed for more than 12 months for the past 10 years.

Hope you can give an advise. Thank you!

Naisip ko lang, you might still need to take PTE, IELTS or other english exam to prove that you have competent English for skilled independent visa application.

Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) document checklist

At the time of invitation

You must provide evidence you have at least competent English.

Family members English language ability

For each of your dependent applicants who are aged 18 years or older at the time of application must provide evidence of Functional English.
