HELPIs it okay to update EOI and claim for 5 pts work exp while additional assessment is in progress

Hi all, I just got my completed positive assessment from Vetassess last Oct 1. They only recognised my current work experience with the same company for 2.7 years (after deducting 1 year addtl requirement). Thus, I could not claim any points for that.

I submitted that assessment last July 2015. I am still with my present employer and will be 4 years there by Nov 2. I will be applying for additional assessment after Nov 2 to claim that I have at least 3 years working experience in my EOI.

Since I am confident that it will be a positive assessment again for my additional 3 months work experience, is it okay to claim in advance the whole 3 years work experience in my EOI so come next year after they start inviting internal auditors again, at least i'll be in the queue/waiting list na? Is it okay to do this in SS application too? Thank you so much!

Hi sis @filipinacpa, what I know is ung end date nang current employment is leave as blank para f aabot na ung years of experience mo sa bracket na mkapag 5 points automatic un na mag add agad dn change ung 'date of effect kung kelan xa nag change ung points mo. yan po sa visa 189 not sure though if same applies to SS.

Thank you sis! Just realised it too while trying to update my EOI awhile ago. Di na ako gastos another $350 for assessment, dun pa rin naman ako. Pang PTE ko nalang ulit para tumaas points baka makatsamba.. Hehe..

thanks sis yes finally na invite na ako kasi nag increase na ung points ko.

eto kakaba pa din hanggang hindi nakakamit ung sabi nila na golden email though hindi pa ako nkapag lodge nang visa. hehe

God Bless sa PTE mo ulit ha dapat i perfect na yan kasi parang pahirapan ata ung sa accountant na code eh at ang tataas nang mga points nila.

@filipinacpa hi sis! Tama si @amb3r795 just leave yung End date blank kasi that means continues yung employment for the same company..automatic naman nacocompute sa EoI and hanggat di mo narereach ang 60pts, di ka naman makakareceive ng invite..Good luck!

@amb3r795 ano yung date of effect? Same scenario kasi samin.... We were assessed only for 4.11 yrs kasi ang latest coe namin was dated sept 2016. From oct 2011-sept 2016. Pwede ba akong mag claim ng 10pts for 5years na experience (current employment naman yung last na naassess samin eh). I saw in eoi na we can leave blank ang current employment but hindi ba kami makkwestyon pag 10points ang claim namin?

@mergetwo if current EOi niyo is 60 points with date of effect Sept 20, 2016 since blank yung current job mo so pag reach nang date na mag 5 years yung employment mo Ex Oct 26, 2016. automatic yung EOI application mo mag re-calculate at may additional 5 points kana with total of 65 points and date of effect is Oct 26, 2016.

Date of effect yan yung basis sa pag auto invite f nka pro-rata yung code mo.
