Hi @lock_code2004, diba for 489 na provisional for 4 years, you can apply for PR after 2 years (?) and then Citizenship. Just wanted to verify if the statement below is still applicable na you can apply for Citizenship after 4 years kasama na ang 2 years na provisioned ka.

If you became a permanent resident on or after 1 July 2007 the residence requirement is:

You must have been living in Australia on a valid Australian visa for 4 years immediately before applying, including 1 year as a permanent resident, and
You must not have been absent from Australia for more than 1 year during the 4 year period, including no more than 90 days in the year immediately before applying.

Anyone here who lodged EOI on July 1st, 2012 onwards and get an invitation to fille for visa under 189 or 190? Once na may invitation to apply for visa, what is the chances to get it approved? Malaki rin kasi yung charges eh.

And more thing, kung ang points ko is minimum under visa 189 (independent), ano kayang chance to get the invitation? I am currently waiting for the result of my SS which I submitted on 11-Sep-12 for visa 190.

Put it this way, getting a 189 is like trying to win a contest...

You are applying together with thousands of other applicants. Every time EOIs are selected, priorities are given to higher scores (currently the cut-off was 70 as of Sept 1) - supposing you have the same score as another person, the one who passed their EOI first gets preference.

Try to AIM as high as possible - notably in the IELTS! 🙂

@Alexcons sabihan kita pag na-approve ako hehe, ang sabi sakin, as long as you can prove yung claim mo sa EOI, almost formality na lang yung process. Unless bumagsak ka sa health check at character check.

yup tama po yan. formality na lang yan unless may problema sa health at pcc nyo. lapit na yan!

May SOL and CSOL 1 and 2 po diba?

Here is the explanation:

a) SOL has one table called Schedule 1..

b) CSOL has two tables:

     - CSOL Schedule 1 (which is basically the same as SOL Schedule 1), 

     - CSOL Schedule 2

Thank you lock_code2004. Bilis reply a. Nagsisimula pa lang rin kasi ako mag-gather ng info about au. Tanong ko lang if makakaffect ba sa application ko yun years of experiences ko sa isang company. Pero overall I have 5 years exp in the same field. For example, 1st company - 2years/9months, 2nd company - 1 year/2 months, 3rd company - 1 year/2months. Ok lang kaya ito?

@eischied_21 - nope.. it does not matter.. as long as you can prove it with cert of employment and detailed job description, signed by HR and/or your previous manager..

Buti na lang. I thought hindrance to. Ang plan ko kasi I'll be the one to provide the contents of my COE which includes the detailed job description and have the HR signed. Ok lang ba to or separate letter pa dapat yun detailed job description? May nabasa kasi ako na sample format sa ACS website so yun na lang susundin ko.

okay lang din kung separate or kung mag combined.. wala nmn kaso un sa ACS.

double check mo nga dates ng employment certs mo.. minsan dyan nagkakatalo sa calculation ng ACS... at points system ng DIAC..

Thank you very much lock_code2004. Uwi kasi ako sa pnas next week. Umpisahan ko na asikasuhin mga requirements and pa-notarize ng mga docs na kelangan sa ACS. Haay, goodluck to me. 🙂

So far eto yun mga documents na nabasa ko upon submission for ACS:

Birth certificate (from NSO) or passport Degree Diploma / Certificate

TOR (Transcript of Records) - A legend explaining the grading system must be included!!! COE (Certificate of Employment) / Employer Reference Letter

May madadagdag ka pa ba? 🙂

sometimes DIAC requires other proof of employment, this is to help them on deciding how many points to give on your employment...

so if you have other documents like yearly ITR, or payslip at the end of the year (with cumulative earnings)..

pwede mo rin ipa-notarize yan.. para atleast isang lakad kana lang..

Hi lock_code2004, may tanong ako ulit. Requirement ba ang CV sa ACS and DIAC? Magrerequest kasi ako ng COE sa previous employer ko. I don't know kun gagawin kong per project yun duties and responsibilities. Kun hindi kelangan ang CV sa ACS and DIAC might as well create a COE na very detailed which is per project. Thanks 🙂

@eischied_21 requirement ng ACS ang detailed job description signed by your HR and/or your manager... better check the ACS website to know the specific requirements for a COE..

such as:

if your permanent employee
number of hours/week
salary
date of employment
and of course detailed job description...

yung CV kasi ikaw lang gumawa nun, kahit magsubmit ka nun, they will still refer to the COE na signed by someone from your company... they can do verification also (call the employer)...

hindi nmn po required ang CV sa DIAC, as far as i know...

Actually, may nakita na akong sample ng COE sa ACS website. Yun CV ko kasi per project so napapaisip ako kun gawin ko na rin per project yun duties and responsibilites na isasubmit ko sa HR for reference nila kaya po nagtanong din ako na requirement ba ng ACS or DIAC yun CV. Ok cge..thanks. I really appreciate ang bilis ng reply mo.
