Hi po. Anu po ba ang dapat lagay sa SOP for visa application? I will apply this month, masters in professional communication, planning to take my 1 year old daughter and hubby as dependents. Please shed some light po, inn feeling very nervous

@danyan2001us Hi, Kuya Dan. Pag dependent visa po at nakawork, possible magtuloy sa work visa if ipursue nya? Kc yung primary applicant baka umuwi after magstudy due to work contract in the Phils.

@danyan2001us hi kuya dan, i am still on a visa subcalss 573 until march 2018 and planning to apply for the grad visa this december 2017 once i finish my studies. However, i am planning to get my 6 year old son this year since im still on a masters degree and schooling is free until i grad. Tanong lang:

Do you know any agency or how i can apply for a visa for my son? I already declared him on my student visa. I just need his visa so i can bring hime here. I asked rps migration from cebu to help me but they are hesitant since they only assist IT, nursing or engineering and i didn't get my visa from them. Is it also possible for me to just lodge my visa if i can't find an agency. How did you process yours?
Also, do you know how much the tuition fees would cost for primary school once i will be on a graduate visa? I know it's different per state but just curious. I am currently studying in perth

@pc3 .... your child will have similar visa as yours so if you apply for 485 graduate visa then lodge his iwn afterwards ( you can't include him yet since he is still offshore) and about sa tuition fee, here in melbourne the school fees of our son is 330$ per term multiply by four terms. good luck and keep up the good work

@danyan2001us Hi Kuya Dan, I hope you can give some insights on our situation. We plan to file for students visa. I'm taking Masters. First move sana namin ay magfile ng Subclass 189 yung husband ko and then dependent nya ko. Pero unable kami to gather requirements for him kasi nasa US sya ngayon at medyo di makakauwi agad at unable din ako to work due to my visa limitations.

Nag-opt kami na mauna ko dun at magstudy dahil yun din naman plan ko talaga gawin. Para di rin sayang sa oras. Then next year, mag-apply sya ng PR. If granted a visa, saka ako magchange as his dependent. If di sya ma-approve ng PR, pwede ko naman sya i-apply na dependent ko.

Okay po ba to na strategy? Maraming salamat. =)

@nori ..... hi nori ang sinishare ko palagi sa mga kababayan natin just like you na kung kaya lang na huwag na dumaan ng student visa then do such pathway but if mahirap talaga gawin just like in your case then, go for it. masyado kasi mahal ang magstudy dito although mababawi naman later on. so on what you shared as your plan, i would agree to such arrangement. another important consideration in such a plan would be that the two of you should be together. ang hirap at napakalaking sakripisyo if one would stay behind. good luck and God bless

hello po brod @danyan2001us . same pathway po din kami ng asawa ko po 573 master in social work (adelaide) july 2018 hopefully matatapos yung schooling nya ( with the creators blessings) yung visa namin until aug 30,2018 po. tanong lang po, after pa po bang graduation kami pwed mag file ng 485 or pwed na sa early july?

Medyo worried kami na magkaproblem kasi pag nagstudent visa ko tapos mag apply yung husband ko ng PR via 189 after a year siguro.

Hi good day mga kababayan. Baka po may idea kayo na similar sa case ko. By the way, here is my background:

Feb 2014 - Got my first student visa (subclass 573)

Feb 2014 to Dec 2014 - Completed Master of Laws at Uni (CRICOS 52 Weeks)

Feb 2015 to Dec 2015 - Completed Graduate Diploma in Aus Law (CRICOS 52 Weeks)

Feb 2016 to Sep 2016 - Completed Graduate Cert in Prof Legal Practice CRICOS 35 Weeks)

My questions:

Would I be qualified for Post-Study Work Stream as I have a Masters degree? I am just worried because my Masters degree was only 1 year (52 weeks) and was completed on Dec 2014 (contrary to the Australian study requirement of 92 weeks completed in the last 6 months). Where will they reckon the computation of 6 months, is it from the date of completion of my masters degree (Dec 2014) or date of completion of my graduate certificate (Sep 2016)?
If I fail to qualify on the Post-Study Work Stream because of the 92 weeks/6 mos study requirement, would I still be qualified to the other stream (Graduate Work Stream) even if my first visa was granted after 5 Nov 2011? My assumption was I may still be qualified here as the list of the application requirements in Form 1409 never stated that this stream is only limited to persons whose first student visa was granted before 5 Nov 2011.

I have consulted several migration agents but their answers are conflicting to each other. Thank you in advance.
