ok nmn first day namin.. ung frend ko where well stay nasa work pa so we book a hotel muna for today pra mkapag pahinga kami muna after the 14hrs flight. the city is laid back and a mix of historic/modern infrastractures hehe. since we use to travel before ma co compare cguro namin sia sa Dublin Ireland. very relax lang mga tao..hindi nagmamadali going to and from work 😃 nasanai din kc kami sa dubai na busy city..ang daming kotse at mabilis lahat magpatakbo..dito easy ka lang haha..80 sa highway and 60 sa cbd ang speed. ung first feeling namin pagdating - eto ung katas ng application ko for visa 189..hurray! 😃 nice ang weather today and everyone has been so polite and helpful..from immigration, customs and taxi 😃 dami kc naming dala and may bata pa. i notice most people here are soft spoken..mejo agressive kc mga tao sa dubai haha (sympre compare). and secondly on our first day high na feel namin na hahaba buhay namin dito lol
we encouraged ourselves to walk sa city kahit may free tram around. na observe namin na people here likes to destress after work. ung tambay lng by the river or street cafes nag k kwentuhan (inom ng beer or kain ng ice cream). at there a lot of pubs around na nka shorts lng nag s serve haha astig at nka sleepers lng. 😃
Madali lng din tandaan ang streets nka blocks lang eh feeling ko ma memrize ko cia n 2days haha. walang malalaking mall! (which is nice) 😃 there are a lot of benches along sa side street under green tall trees 😃
since we lived n uae for quite long nasanai kami na hindi pde mag Public Display of Affection. kahit mag asawa indi pde..so here you can enjoy a walk n d park na sweeter this time haha. hindi nman PDA din pro ung wlang paki mga tao tlaga. while mag c cross sa street may nakita kami kanina prang long lost frends sila halaa nag kiss muna ng matagal sa gitna ng daan lol (Otwol mode) 😃 anyhow back to mature stories..hehe...its expensive here!!! waaaahh.. dito mo ma feel na kelangan careful ka tlaga sa every bit of expenses mo. kahit ung sukli na cents tago mo tlaga kc kelangan mo yan sa convenience store haha.
7 eleven 1.5water was 5au, 2nd bottle 2au. so prang 2 for 3.5 au waaaah. tho may groceries na nagbbenta nmn ng 70/90 cents. so no to 7 eleven. akala namin hindi ganun ka overpriced.
food sa mga restau (asian) ranges from 10-20 a meal.
icedtea, softdrinks is 4au!(sa street restau) hahaha.
fastfood nakta ko sa kfc 10pcs 9.99au not bad for a family haha.
burgers/fries/snacks/sandwiches sa city is around 5-15 au.
water sa vending machine 2.99au na 500 ml so maghanap ka ng wollies or coles pra makatipid lol

sympre if bulk buying pde naman mag aldi. pro ung pa isa isang bili mahal tlaga. so f gagala magbaon ng tubig..iwasan ang softdrinks..wag muna mag beer/yosi f wlapng work lol bukas punta kami sa bank where we opened an account online and bili ng sim and punta ng aldi pra mkabili ng diapers 😃
so far sa first day high namin ok nman. hindi ganun kalaki cguro compared sa syd ang mel pro i feel ung competition here sa applicants s lesser din cmpared sa sydney. so unahan nalng and may d most talented win a post 😃
sunset for now was around 8pm. closed na most stores by 5 and 6pm. its a relaxed city even nung mga 5pm paglabas galing office. may nag b bike habang nka suit astig! most people here commute and its fun seeing hindi-stressed face around 😃
