Job market is tight, marami desktop support/all around IT jobs and medyo hardcore yung sysadmin jobs. Applied for over 200+ jobs for 2 months (across SEEK, LinkedIn and Indeed) before I got my current job.

@michaelAU Employment sponsorship is rare in AU unless you're very good or one of a kind (think Google/FB tier employee), unlike SG or the US. AU strongly prefers people with local experience and there's a lot of very good local people applying for jobs.

@japsdotcom ACT’s largest IT employer is the Federal Government so usually they require aus citizenship and security clearance. The only time they allow PR is kung wala na talaga silang makuha na willing mag stay sa Canberra. But last option na nila yan.

You may consider applying on government post but although they don't require ACS Membership (Certified Technologist / Certified Professional), but having this certification gets you an edge in any federal govt role. Cheers.

That is possible. Will just depend on how you sell your profile. The most important question I would say from most employers would be your rights to work, which in your case is not a problem since you're PR.
