457 sponsorship is a company will hire you and apply you a 457 visa. Visa is valid from 2 to 4 years. Dependents ca n work with out limit. After 2 years working on a 457 visa, you can apply for the 186 PR visa.

190 Visa is state sponsorship, you must meet the required points and receive a state invitation to lodge a visa.

@isidro023 yes po. Sa visa 190 po 60points nmn po sya. age po nya 27-30points. Ielts nya proficient po-10points. Diploma po in Hospitality 10 points. In skilled exp. 5 points. 10 po if aabot sya 3yrs. Then po yung isang 5 points na hndi nmin clain yung Australian study requirement. Di po ksi nmin sure if yung other australian study requirement na yun must be under hospitality din or any bsta nkpagtpos sya ng any other courSe other than hospitality. So di na nmin sinali. Then if maiinvite po ng nsw. Additional 5points po which will make it 65 or 60. Pro try lng po nmin yan. Pra lang po may idea kami. Thank you po s reply 🙂

Employer 457 or the 190 state sponsorship?</blockquote>that refers to 457 sponsorship..yong sa state sponsorship naman kung tingin mo naka 55 points ka na then you can try looking for a state na pwede ka makasubmit for state sponsorship like SA or VIC...and always, it is based on the qualifications that you have ....each state also has its own set of guidelines like kung ano ang ielts na needed atbp. good luck sis

Hi @Ileene bale kami ni hubby nagstart dito as student visa, Bachelor in Accounting.. After ko makatapos nung Nov 2014, nagielts ako agad and nagapply ng assessment sa CPA australia... Naka 65 points ako (no work experience) tapos nag lodge agad ako ng EOI nung april, after few months nakuha na namin yung visa grant... 189 yung visa namin.. Bale hindi na ako nag 485 visa (graduate visa)... As long as pasok kayo sa point, may positive assessment and nasa SOL yung occupation makaka apply kayo ng PR... Hope this helps...

@Ileene I think what he means is employer 457..then If you have enough experience like 1yr apply independently for a PR visa or if your employer is wiiling after working for them for some time your employer can sponsor you for a employe sponsored resident visa.

Questions po:

In your nominated occupation, you don't have any experience even in the Philippines, and yet you received a positive assessment from ICAA? Natapos mo lang yung course, tama?
Yung 5 points na partners qualification, is it necessary na same occupation (in your case, external auditor) or pwedeng hindi, as long as nasa SOL/CSOL yung occupation nya?
Nakapag Bridging Visa A ka kasi nakapaglodge ka ng 189 kahit di na nag 485 visa?

@danyan2001us thanks kuya. Sa NSW ksi kasama yung pwd nya inominate na occupation. COOK with 2 years experience in commercial kitchen po. Iba pa po dun yung chef which is included din po sa sol ng nsw. Sna nga po pwd yun. If hndi i think katulad nlng po ng gnwa nyo yung ggwin nmin which is kuha sya ng masters degree. Sa sponsorship nmn po, sana maapprove yung nauna para kung skli gustihin ng boss nya swerte nkmi nun. Thank you again po

@Micaiah08 ang galing naman po. Yung hubby ko kasi diploma lang in accounting. So baka po magmasters nrn sya kaht mhirap at mahal.

Yes, natapos ko yung course ko dito sa Au... By the way hindi ako accounting sa pinas pero 2 years lang ako nagaral ng bachelor of accounting dito kasi binigyan ako advanced standing sa previous course na natapos ko sa pinas (business related course).
Ang alam ko dapat nasa same occupation list kayo kung magclaim ng extra five points... So kung sa SOL yung ninominate ko na occupation, dapat din yata SOL yung nominated occupation nya, kung CSOL, both nominated occupation nyo galing CSOL--- pero hindi ako sure dito... Yung mga expert po, please advise...
Yes, after ko maglodge ng 189 nagrant yung bridging visa A namin... Although may few months pa din sa student visa namin nung time na nagapply kami ng 189.... Inuna ko kasi yung ielts right after ko matapos yung course since yun yung starting point ko para sa 189 application, after nun derederecho na...

@Ileene try nyo muna kung pwede state sponsorship... Mahirap din kasi kung "accountant" yung nominated occupation (kung ipursure nya yung masters), ang taas ng points na kailangan para mainvite (as of now)... Tapos close na din ang external auditor... Hindi din natin alam kung magstay sa SOL next year yun mga occupation na yun (pero sana magstay para sa mga magaapply in the future....).

Try lang ng try. Same situation din kame sa inyo dati pero mabait si lord kung matyatyaga ka. Explore nyo yung state sponsorship saka employer sponsor.

We also started from student visa, and now our PR visa has been granted. Patience lang and don't forget to pray. Pag kukuha ng course make sure na may pathway to PR para di sayang ang oras at effort. 🙂

Hi all i have a question. Is it possible to lodge a 189 visa after graduation without any work experience in australia/overseas? Granting that i will satisfy 60 points or more from my age, education, ielts, etc? I am assuming that by the time i graduate, i will be unemployed or working but not related to the occupation i am planning to nominate (project manager/builder). Once i lodge if i satisfy the points and assessment, do you think i have to be working at the time to the occupation on the sol or is it okay if i don't? Am really worried and confused as i assume it will take time for me to land a job on the selected skill if ever.
