FYI as of today ay, 19 months na ang processing time.

If your citizen application is still in ‘Received’ status ay ganyan na katagal ang antayan.

Dati ay 17 months lang.

@LakiMasel Dito sa VIC, I think depende sa waiting list ng council kung gaano katagal ang waiting time. Napansin ko lang....

Yun processing time from application submission up until attending the ceremony?

Ano turn-around time from application to test, and test to interview? Kase it looks like yun ceremony schedule tlaga yun matagal.

Application to Approval ang 19 mos...ceremonies varies depending on council schedules.in my case in Qld, waited 1.5 mos kasi every 2 mos schedule ng council namin. Theres no definite timelines kasi it varies per application depending on checks na dapat nila gawin. I was fortunate got invited for the test and approved in just 3 mos after application thogh marami pa din applications before me that up to now no test or approvals pa din.

3 months and 1.5 months...applied in february 2018, ceremony in July.Applied passport the next day after ceremony and got the oassport after 18 days.

@fgs are you solo applicant or your family /husband already citizen ikaw na lang nag lodge conferral? I have officemate indian national solo applicant kasi husband and children are already australian kaya mabilis she applied march2018 oat na sept2018.. i think depende if family medyo matgal 8-11 months waiting for test schedule. who applied here march 2018 may sched for test?

@manofsteel It varies. There’s no definite or fixed timeline. It depends on the state where you lodged your application. With the approval and ceremony, it seems like it depends on the waiting list of the council that you chose. There are many other factors which we may not know of.

@Cassey yes sa CBD, tabi lang ng Parliament station. best go there in advance kasi may priority number pala. good luck. 🙂 they will give you 3 attempts. 🙂
