189 visa granted, will reside in AUS but employed out of Singapore?

Hello, tanong lang po. I’m from Singapore and currently have a job that may allow me to move to Aus and be a remote employee of our Singapore office. Wala kaming office sa Aus so work from home lang ako nun if ever.

Is this a valid arrangement given that I have a granted 189 Aus visa? If ever kasi, parang my taxes are still based out of Singapore. Do I need to at some point have to let go of my Singapore based employment and have to find an Aus company if I stay for good in Aus?

Try to assess also if your sg employment na work from home in Au is panglongterm na. Else, better find a job in Au while may income ka pa from SG. You're one of the few lucky guys now 😉

Agree here as I don't think employed in SG but working from Australia will really be a long term option...

As much as possible try looking for local experience na rin.
