Ang sakit naman ng nangyari sayo @amcasperforu, kasama mo pa si Mader mo sa application. Sana maging compassionate na lang sila since may master equivalent ka na rin naman. Naka pagbayad ka na rin kaya sobra stressful kung mavovoid. pray ka na lang that God shed light in your case. Magiging lesson to para samin lahat.

@amcasperforu hello, mejo bigla yata ako nagworry din for my case kasi we declared bachelor degree din to claim 15pts and nasa section 2 and school ko.

pwede ba malaman yung bachelor degree na pinaassess mo? thanks

@jvframos Oks lang na bachelors degree ang i-claim mo basta yun yung assessment ng ACS or kung sino man ang assessing body mo. Lam ko may mga section 2 dati na 15pts ang awarded eh.

Basta nskasulatdun s assessment result eh may clause na "your education was assessed as equivalent as Bachelor's Degree major in ..."

guys, me nka pansin b sa inyong dun sa report ng July 1 invitation? sure ako last time sa visa 189 me nainvite ng 60pts with Visa date of effect 27/06/2013 7.19.47 pm. pro ngayon tiningnan ko ulet biglang nag bago, 65pts ang pinakamababa na bigyang ng invite sa visa189 hahaha

so wla pa tlagang nkakalusot na 60pts pra sa visa 189.

Na-assessed naman as AQF Masters degree. The entry level to the course of a Masters degree satisfactory completion of a bachelors degree..

If you look on the other side of it, pwede po di ba? Logically speaking, their framework (AQF) is structured. Technically, it is a steps geared toward to the next level. Successful completion of one step means you have passed the pre-requisites.

Hope may makapag comment if I sounded right and logically correct.

@jvframos, you should not worry, as long as dun sa assessment letter ay equivalent sa Bachelors degree, you are on safe side. Yung sa akin po dalawa yung naging qualification ko and neither ACS or DIAC di clear sa kanila pano ang guidelines for more than one qualifications, nagpapasahan sila unfortunately 🙁

@jvframos Hello, nag tanong ako sa agent sabi nya Bachelor's degree parin ung consideration basta full time 4 to 5 yrs cya..

and dba meron kana Vetassess assessment? dba inaadvise ka naman nila dun sa result mo kung anong equivalent ng educational qualification mo..

@rachelle_gan2 @amcasperforu yun ba yung stated on the 2nd page of the result from vetassess? meron kasi syang cover letter that states the minimum requirement then on the 2nd page, nakasulat dun yung qualification. Is that the one you are referring to? Is that is the one, then tama yung naclaim ko na bachelor degree.

@jvframos d pa kasi naaprove ung Vet namin.. Pero un ung sabi ng agent namin na sinasabi daw dun sa letter ung equivalent ng qualification mo sa sa AQF..

@jvframos .. bigla naman akong kinabahan dun sa pinasa mo mam, parehas kasi tayo ng case.. I understand your situation mam. AQF Diploma equivalent lang eh pasok na tayo sa position natin.. Pero meron naman nga dun sa page 2 na kung anong equivalent, comparable to what educational level po ang qualification nyo. kung ang nakalagay po doon sa inyo ay "comparable to the educational level of an Australian Bachelor Degree" I think sapat na po un na mgclaim ng 15 points.

Please correct me If I'm wrong para malinawan din po ung iba pang applicants... 🙂

yup as long as naka saad dun aqf bachelors degree you should not worry then you can claim 15pts.

@jvframos - did you apply for Point Test Advice (PTA)?

based on my understanding and based on your result, nakalagay lang na your skills and educ qualification is at the required level ..... meaning kung anu ang minimum requirement ng nominated occupation mo, nasatisfy mo yun... example, if your occupation (based on vetassess) the minimum requirement to get a positive assessment is 3 yrs work and an equivalent to AU diploma.... your assessment result says you satisfied these criteria...

so, if you DID NOT apply for PTA:

a) hindi nila sasabihin ang equivalent ng educ qualification mo..

example: may bs degree, ms degree at PHD ka... hindi nila sasabihin kung equivalent ba yan ng AU degree, MS or PHD....

therefore you dont have a basis to claim for bachelor or PHD...kasi inassess ka based sa minimum requirement na diploma lonly..

b) same case with work experience...

example if you have more than 10 yrs of work experience, pero ang minimum requirement lang nila is 3 yrs, than yung 3 yrs lang ang iasseess nila..

you won't have basis to claim for the remaning 7 years...

You may still be eligible to claim 15 pts I think... PRC registration so I reckon board passer ka diba? My wife came from a section 3 school and is a CPA in the Philippines; having said that, we claimed 15pts and walang problema.

There are criteria specific to each school section; it doesn't necessarily mean na kung section 2 or 3 yung yung mo, automatic goodbye yung 15pts claim mo... 🙂

As long as may PRC license ka sure ball ka to claim for 15pts... It is one of their guidelines... Professional year as they call it.

Di ka naman dapat kabahan @jvframos...kahit na nasa section 3 pa school mo, what more kung nasa section 2. 🙂

@TasBurrfoot @amcasperforu thanks... yup, board passer nag po. sinama ko young for my vet assess assessment as well as sa paglodge ng visa application to strengthen my claim for 15points. now i am relieved kahit pa section 2 and school ko. thanks guys. :-)
