<blockquote rel="mr_reygan"><b>I need your kind advise on claiming education and employment points for a 189 visa.</b>
I have a non-ICT related bachelor's degree. Therefore, the qualification was not assessed by ACS and was recommended to take the RPL route, which I did and got the following results:
Your skills have been assessed to be suitable for migration under 261311 (Analyst Programmer) of the
ANZSCO Code.
<i>The following employment after August 2008 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately
skilled level and relevant to 261311 (Analyst Programmer) of the ANZSCO Code.

Position: Application Developer
Employer: ABC
Dates: 08/11 - 05/13 (1yrs 9mths)
Position: Application Developer
Employer: XYZ</i>
<b>
Question 1:</b>
Given that this is an RPL application, please let me know if I can claim a bachelor degree for my education (15 pts) and skilled employment after august 2008 which is 5 years (10) points.
<b>
Question 2:</b>
If yes, what should I state for the following under my education history?:
Qualification
Course name
Institution name
<b>Question 3:</b>
Should I also include my non-assessed bachelor's degree under my education history?
<b>Question 4:</b>
I am still an employee of XYZ but my assessment date is only until 05/13. Can I still claim my experience after this date?
<b>My assumptions were based on the following:</b>
<i>The Australian Skills Recognition Information (ASRI) for Analyst Programmer - 261311 states that:
This occupation has a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).
ACS states that:
The purpose of the RPL application is to give you the opportunity to demonstrate that you have acquired a level of knowledge equivalent to that of a formal tertiary ICT qualification.</i></blockquote>
I think you can claim 5 years on your employment history, with regards naman to educational qualification I suggest you claim 10 points para hinde ka na hanapan ng point test advice from vetassess kasi by default 10 points inaaward ng diac once succesful ang skills assessment mo, If 65 points ka na in total madali ka ng maiinvite pero if you need that 5 points to go above 60, I suggest you secure a point test advice from vetassess. RPL din ako and I claimed 10 points kahit na wala sa list ng recognized schools yung school ko and may CO na rin ako hinde naman nya kinontest yung claim ko for education. Hope this helps. Thanks!
