Kung ano po ang assessment ng ACS yun ang usually sinusunod ng DIAC, unless you have other proof for your claim, like a point test advice from VETASSESS that will say your qualification is equivalent to an AQF Degree. Hope this helps. Thanks!

parang wala akong nakita sa EOI form na mapipili yung points for education, meron lang input boxes for degree, course, school, dates, ACS reference number, etc. then yung system na magccompute ng overall total points. am i missing something??

@loudandclear meron po. You are to select based on your assessment whether diploma or bachelor. If you select the former, ie diploma, you'll be short by 5 points sa education, whereas pag bachelor ur points will be 15.

@gelato hindi kaya dahil magtataas sila ng fee sa Spetember 1 kaya wala muna silang ininvite? May nakita kasi ako sa ibang forum na magtataas daw. Sana hindi totoo. mejo mabigat yung itinaas mula July.

Wala naman rule against being invited if you don't get high IELTS marks to merit claiming points... 🙂

@Dukee hello but ayaw mo visa 190 nalang? Atelast PR kana agad.. ung 489 kasi alam ko temporary PR lang un.. pag 190 naman kasi abot kana rin sa 60 points.. So i guess mag pa sponsor ka nalang sa state mas maganda cguro..

first question: what is your nominated occupation?

2nd question: is your occupation in the State's list for visa 190?

if yes, then you are very much eligible for visa 190 SS...

@Dukee Considering ur Occupation Architectural Draftsman naman CSOL naman well pdeng pde ka sa visa 190. mag a sponsor ka sa WA kasi mabilis lang cla.. Nothing to worry kasi as long as ur 60 points na wala ng problema un. Definitely they will invite to apply for state sponsorship if WA ka..

atleast sa visa 190 lahat ng benefits sa PR m re-receive muna.. Sayang naman mag temporary PR kapa e eligible na rin naman..

The Australian Skills Recognition Information (ASRI) for Analyst Programmer - 261311 states that:

This occupation has a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).

ACS states that:

The purpose of the RPL application is to give you the opportunity to demonstrate that you have acquired a level of knowledge equivalent to that of a formal tertiary ICT qualification.

@mr_reygan successful yung acs nyo diba based sa minimum educ requirement for you job code na bachelors degree? Then nirequire kayo mag RPL which is succesful din. By right you can claim 15pts kung yun ang minimum. Based yan sa discussion sa link na bnigay ko above. Antay din po tayo ng comments sa mga ACS nagpa assess and with similar situation. Naishare ko lang ksi kakabasa ko lang ng thread na yan yesterday. Hope it helps.

I think you can claim 5 years on your employment history, with regards naman to educational qualification I suggest you claim 10 points para hinde ka na hanapan ng point test advice from vetassess kasi by default 10 points inaaward ng diac once succesful ang skills assessment mo, If 65 points ka na in total madali ka ng maiinvite pero if you need that 5 points to go above 60, I suggest you secure a point test advice from vetassess. RPL din ako and I claimed 10 points kahit na wala sa list ng recognized schools yung school ko and may CO na rin ako hinde naman nya kinontest yung claim ko for education. Hope this helps. Thanks!
