hello all! though may ibat ibang threads na about flying to au, wanted to create a separate thread sa mga concerns natin on what we can and cannot bring to au. This will help a lot d new migrants para d masayang ang goods na dadalhin f not allowed.

Ginisa flavor mix! wag na wag kayo mag dadala. we were checked and asked to throw it away. hindi namin napansin na sinilid pala ng maid namin sa pinas 3 pack ng ginisa flavor mix.

@therealaids just wondering pano nyo dineclare yung ginisa mix, kasi kami we're able to bring in seasoning mix like sinigang mix, magic sarap, knorr soup, mama sitas mix etc..we declared them as seasoning mix/condiments di naman hinarang..

When I visited my boyfriend in Brissie last April 2015, I brought the following things for pasalubong:

sungka board with seashells
dried mangoes
native picture frame made with dried leaves
cornick
pencil holder made from dried leaves

Usually sinasabi sa customs na bawal yung mga dried plants pati anything made from wood, but as long as it was COMMERCIALLY MADE and you DECLARE it on your card, then they'll allow it. Yung sungka board ko, I made sure na tinanggal ko yung sand leftover from the shells kasi ayaw rin nila yung may dirt/sand from another country.

Argh! I guess that's the issue. Ang mali namin hindi namin diniclare! Pinatapon samin ng officer. dahil first time namin dumating hindi nakame nakipag argue kasi 3 packs lang dala namin.

Buti pinatapon lang! Sa Border Security, yung iba, pinatapon na tapos meron pang fee pag hindi declared...

Yes naawa siguro sa mom ko kasi nasa 70s na siya at first time namin. Kinakabahan din talaga kame hindi namin alam gagawin that time. So best TIP siguro is to really declare all stuff possible na ma question.

hello all! meron bang nka try dito mgdala ng electric guitar/pedals? hindi mka let go c hubby sa gadgets nia . since made of wood kina quarantine po ba ng ilang days and how much dd u pay for storage fee?

I don't think you will have any problem in bringing those stuff since the wood is already treated. Natanong nadin ata iyan dun sa isang thread.

@markbarquin thanks. actually tried to google 'guitar'-'pinoyau' forum' 'australia' customs..wala tlaga ako makta.i dnt see any issue nman cguro like any other countries..but u know ok din f marinig mo mismo sa nka experience na magdala ng item 😃 baka may tips pa kasama bah. cheers!

My son brought his guitar from the Philippines and there was no issue. We declared it since it's a wood product
