passport renewal after visa grant

Visa 189 got approved Jan 2016

Expected Initial Entry Date June 2016

Passport will expire Jan 2017

Actual validity ng Philippine Passport is until July 2016

anu bang mas ok na option.

Renew now? If yes, how do we get a new grant notice with updated passport details?

Or renew na lang sa AU pag dating namin?

theres a form you have to submit.."change of circumstances" if im not mistaken..you better have it renewed and unform the CO of the passport details...usually migrant visa holders are exempted sa 6mos passport validity when going out of the countries...but we never know, discretion din ng immigration officer if they allow you out...you have to renew anyway and better to do it while nasa pinas pa kasi nasa canberra pa ang embassy...though may mga schedule din ng mobile renewal sa mga states

parehas tayo ng situation ako naman sa november 2016 expire visa ko tapos mag entry ako ng march or april. kung magpasa ba ko sa CO hintayin ko pa ba reply nila sa change of circumstancea? di kaya ito maging cause of delay sa pag alis namen. thanks sa mga sasagot?

Happened to us as well Visa Grant naming was July 2015 tapos ang move ko sa OZ is Jan 2016. July 2016 naman yung expiration nung passport namin ni misis.

What I did is bago ko nag travel sa OZ, pinarenew muna namin yung passport. Nareceive namin yung bagong passport sometime in August 2015.

After this, we filled out Form 929 "Change of Passport and/or Passport Details". Wrote an email to Australian embassy sa Dubai (I was based there) informing them the changes. Inattach ko din yung old and new passport namin together with Form 929. Yung new passport needs to be CTC.

Few weeks after, I received an email from them na naupdate na nila sa system nila path na din sa VEVO.

@ImB form 929 pala ung gamiten? akala ko yung isang form ung change of circumstances? may na receive ka din ba na bagong visa grant? thanks for your reply. cge magpa renew na ko next week

Hindi.

Form 929 "Change of Passport and/or Passport Details" ang ififill out mo for any changes sa passport details mo (e.g. renewal).

Wala na silang ibibigay na bagong visa. Iaadvise ka na lang nila via email na naupdate na nila yung system nila.
