Hi Everyone,

Me and my wife are planning to apply for Australia PR this year. And meron lang ako doubt about sa assessment, we've heard kasi na part ng point system is the work experience and education, ngayon sa case kasi namin we are both engineering grad (BSECE) but our work experience is more on IT Software Engineering (6 years of work exp, nasabi kasi sa amin ng kaibigan ko na baka bawasan yung work exp namin during assessment kasi ang coursr namin is not relavant to IT (which is our current work). Totoo ba ito? meron ba dito na may same case tulad ng sa amin? Ilan yung naaward na points sa inyo?

On the otherhand, we are also considering to hire a migration agent so far ang alam pa lang namin is Migration Global Assistance and Respall? Any reviews on your end? Or meron ba kayo maissuggest sa amin?

@jecrisoncastillo, so far sa forum Na nababasa ko when it comes to ea Wala pa nadededuct kasi related sa course Nila ung experience Nila. Well there's probability Na ideduct ung years of experience nyo. If you can get coe with job description Na somehow Medyo related sa ece, then my advise is gandahan mo Na Lang ung cdr mo. On your second question, actually respall ako, so far ok naman sila. .

tinitignan nila ung experience mo na kapag IT usually nagbabawas ang ACS dun. kapag ECE dapat experience mo sa communications or sa electronics para di ka mabawasan ng experience

@jericsoncastillo, sir tama yung suggestion na gandahan ang COE, also if talagang may deduction sa no of years, pwede naman mag PTE/IELTS kayo. pwede rin mag pa-assessment si wife at additional +5 points yun if suitable.

if kaya nyo i-diy yung application try nyo din. all information and forms naman nasa web. May forum din to ask, napaka-helpful na mga members ng pinoyau. 🙂 nag-diy din ako kasi sayang ung money pang-start up na din, if ever. all the best sir! 🙂 ask lang if may mga questions kayo.

ECE grad din ako pero sa IT industry din ako nagtratrabaho. Sa ACS ako nagpa-assess at naconsider din naman nilang ICT major yung course and 2 years lang nadeduct nila sa akin. May mga iba rin akong kakilala na naclassify naman sila na ICT minor so at least 4 years naman nadeduct. I think depende rin kasi kung related yung nominated occupation dun sa ICT-related subjects na nakuha mo nung college. Kahit ako noon nag-alangan din ako maglodge kasi baka sayang pera pero minsan kasi, you have to take the risk. At least malalaman mo na di ba? Good luck!

@kaizer23 @ed_lupeet @mgt21 @nolwe salamat guys sa mga helpful answers niyo. Anyway in total 8 years na din ako sa indutry, 2 years working in a semiconductor (which is ECE related) and 6 years sa IT.
