@dnoblec uu pwede mag apply any type of visa kahit student as long as u dont break your student visa conditions.

nasa CSOL din nmn po ang Pastry/Cook/Chef
other things to consider 1 yr lang ang Cert, unless ituloy mo sa 2yr diploma course (para makakuha ka ng EOI-5pts of AU education, if you need the points)
if you are going to look at the occupation ceilings:

3511 Bakers and Pastrycooks- 10 invitations out of 2040

3513 Chefs - 7 out of 4920

3514 Cooks - 25 out of 1800

this is as of Dec 2012, so halfway na ang program year, pero konti p lang ang naiinvite..

one disadvantage of a TAFE/diploma course, this is not included in the new Post-study work Visa na iimplement nila later in 2013.. the Post Study Work Visa is only for bachelors/masteral/Phd graduates..

Sirs and ma'ms ask ko lang po... kung 1year lng po ang duration ng Bachelor's of Nursing, like sa Deakin, pde po ba mag-apply ng Post Study Work Visa? o pra lang po yun sa mga 2 years and duration ng course? anu po kaya ang other option after matapos yung 1 year course... TIA

based on the current guidelines.. applicable lang ang Post Study Work visa for Bachelors, Master and PhD, with a minimum duration of 92 wks (atleast 16 calendar months )

thanks sir lock_code... ahh hndi po applicable ung offer ng deakin na 1 year... so if ever mtapos ung 1 year need na po tlga mkahanap ng work na mag-iisponsor, or mag-enroll nmn ng Master's, o my iba pa po bang option pra mkapag-stay pa sa OZ.. sensya na po sa mga tanong ah..thanks

@Rommel1982 Ganun ba? Sige Master of Education na nga ang kukunin ko. Educ. grad naman ako major in Chemisty. Kaya lang di ko alam kung san magandang mag enroll. 🙁

Pero salamat ha.. Nakakabilib naman, di kayo madamot na mag share sa kapwa nyo Pinoy ng mga idea.

@Rommel1982 would like to ask sana where ka naglodge ng student visa, may agent ka ba? bachelor of nursing 4yr course ba ung kukunin mo? i am planning to take up enrolled nursing course of 2 years lang sana due to budget concerns. grad ako ng psychology pero sales and admin ang mga line of work ko for 12 yrs na. Were you interviewed when you filed your application? may i know your student visa timeline? thanks in advance

thru IDP po ako, kaya daw po sya 1 year kc credit prior learning july intake po... pro wla pa po ako offer letter so di pa ako sure kung tlgang 1 year duration lng tlga xa...

nag lodge ako sa VIA centre no Agent. Bachelor of Nursing 3yrs.. Btw, andito na po ako sa Sydney malapit kona po matapos ang aking course. 🙂

No interview sa application ng visa i just followed all the necessary documents that needed..

Timeline? hmmm.. i forgot na.. basta after medicals 2weeks i had my student visa na.
