Student Visa (Step by step)

Hello. Can a brother-in-law sponsor a student visa application, or strictly siblings lang? Thanks

@here ......bro/sis here are the qualified persons for sponsorship to a student visa application in OZ.

(a)    the applicant;

(b)    the applicant's spouse or de-facto partner;

(c)    a parent of the applicant;

(d)    a grandparent of the applicant;

(e)    a brother or sister of the applicant;

(f)    an uncle or aunt of the applicant who is:

(i)    an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen; and

(ii)    usually resident in Australia.

Ganun po ba... Nag search naman po ako online, sabi sa specialconsultancy.com, pede daw po ang father-in-law and brother-in-law..

Just wondering, anyone who has experienced having their brother/sister-in-law as their sponsor?

@walapangbisa Hi! I wanna bring my dog din sana in case ma grant visa ko. So I emailed the Australian Department of Agriculture and inquired about it an this is their response (please see attached photos). And according to my cousin, costly daw magkaroon ng pet dun. My monthyl check up tpos mahal pa daw sa tao ung mga medical expenses nila. And it's like adopting a human kid raw. The do surveys daw if ur able to take care of ur pet. Who's gonna look after ur pet if wala ka. Etc.

@dreamprayhard84 Thanks for the info. Kunin nalang siguro namin next year mas madali siguro pag andun na kami. Very attached kase kami sa aso namin. Since we got married two years ago alaga na namin. It may sound OA, pero nalulungkot talaga ako na iwan sya. Thanks sa info.

Hi all!

I just want to share my experience especially to those who needs to travel to Manila for medical exams. Just had ours (me and my partner) last Fri at NHSI Makati. From CdeO we arrived at NAIA around 10:35am. We immediately went straight to look for NHSI Makati. We arrived around 11am there and checked for the requirements. The following were asked from us (subclass 574):

4 pcs passport pics per person

2 Clear copies of passport per person

Payment: 3625 per person

Unfortunately, we lack some passport pics so we had to have them copied but its more expensive than getting a new one so we opted to have a new set. Then had our passports photocopied. Then everything was smooth after that. It was less than an hour when we finished our exams. We were informed that the results will be uploaded within a week.

This is for all who have been searching the whole WWW for details but to no avail. Just the address was available.

So there you have it, I hope everyone will have a smoother medical exam at NHSI

@walapangbisa ..hirap magkababy dito sis hehe...anak namin dito pinanganak at inouwi ni mrs sa pinas dahil walang mag aalaga dito.....hopefully next year makukuha na namin siya balik dito sa melbourne.....

@bellaparaiso ....i know the feeling....hehe....treasure every minute of the experience.....and remember winter dito ngayon medyo malamig palo na dito sa melbourne....highest is 13 degrees and lowest is 3 degrees....kaya you need to adjust yourself....pero kayang kaya yan hehe...ang important macerating ka na dito....God is good indeed....we'll continue to pray for our friends here so that they will also soon have their visa....

Hello, I'm really new here but I am still backreading the threads. Can you help me? I just received my eCoE. I tried booking an appointment with VFS, but it will be from 10th July onwards. So that's not an option because classes start on 14th July. What's the best option for visa application? Should I send my application to the Australian Embassy directly by post? Have you tried this option?
