@Yanna I highly recommend IDP. They are legal and free of charge. They processed my 573 student visa. No problems at all. Very smooth at very helpful sila. 🙂

@amedina Talaga po? May I know your counselors name? Para lang po may reference ako. hehe. Pero oo nga, kasi nag back read ako dito and mostly IDP, never ko nabasa yung FORTRUST hehehe

kuya @danyan2001us tanong ko lang kung paano nyo na update ang Australian address nyo sa DIAC? online or personal kayong nagpunta sa office nila? Also, my program has commenced last week, so allowed na ako magwork or may mga permit pa ka kelangan? I have an interview schedule on Wednesday, sana makuha ko yung work. salamat po

@markmark ....as long as you're staying with the address you gave to DIBP during your application, then no need to update your address with them....if ever you will transfer to a new address, be sure to inform your education provider and they will be the ones to coordinate with DIBP.....with regard to your work interview, yes you can start looking for work now since your program has commenced already....kaya hanap na ng work....good luck to your job interview....

@Yanna Sure. Daryl Castillo name ng counsellor ko. All of them are helpful . Although minsan pag madami silang applicants, matagal ang sched of appointment. But smooth ang process at they will guide you. Call them in their office for appointment. 🙂

May mga grant na po ba dyan for Oct intake? I have relodged last July 31 po pala .... hoping for a better result this time around.

Nag lodge na po pala kami for october intake ng july 30 at na acknowledge ng july 31 at nagpa early medical nadn kami ni wife during medical kahit nagpasa ako ng mga clearance from old doctor na nag gamot ako ng 2005 sa sakit na tb nag notice padn ang australian embassy na may additional test ako na sputum tapos ang result lalabas ng 2 months kaya baka hindi kami aabot ng october intake plan namin magpa defer kami ng january intake next year pag hindi kami umabot ng october o.k lang ba yun boss. Dan hindi ba maaapektohan yung application namin pag nagpa defer kami ng january intake?. Salamat po and god bless you all.

Congrats on finally getting your 574 application processed and approved! 🙂

They just asked me to present my passport and my visa grant letter when I applied for a postpaid plan. I also got it from Vodafone - iP5s at $60/mo (unlimited national and international SMS plus $500 for calls and 1GB data).

As long as the new course you're shifting to still satisfies the requirement for the visa that you have applied for, you should be fine. There are cases that you can't shift until you've spent at least 6 months on your original course.

I wish this were true in my case but it just isn't. 🙁 I work around 18-20 hours a week but I can barely save up for even half of my school fees ($10.5K per sem) and I'm not paying rent! Nagbabaon pa ako haha. I guess it would mathematically be possible if you get a parttime job that pays over $20/hr.

@dreamprayhard84 ..sa ngayon pa lang you need to make up your mind whether you will pursue the october intake or you will wait till the january intake....if you will decide to pursue it now then you can make arrangement with your chosen institution for an extension ( just like what my wife did with her first studies here)....but if you think na hindi talaga aabot then postpone your application and intake till january....wala naman problema sa immigration yon ...that's your call already.......
