Hi tanong ko lang po kung advisable ba na mag enroll sa diploma course to be an enrolled nurse or Certificate sa aged care sa OZ, na eemploy po ba after ng studies pag ganun? i'm in a dilemma kasi kung mag pursue ako ng 1 year conversion program given na hindi umabot yung score ko sa IELTS... tas mas mahal pa yung conversion kesa sa diploma course... sana po may mag shed ng light kasi nalilito po talaga ko kung ano ang pipiliin ko... salamat po... Reply to @alrakeam_18: As per other forum mahirap kumuha ng sponsorship for aged care or enrolled nurse. If you'll go for conversion same din ang IELTS requirements 7 in all subtest and OBS of 7 most schools. In case, you wont make it to your IELTS score you can still enroll for conversion program as long as you'll get the packaged program which includes English in the course for a few weeks.

With regards to your dilemma, it's really expensive if you go via conversion program but after the course you are already a Division 1 nurse and isang buhos na lang ng gastos.

You mentioned about aged care/ diploma after the course carer ka or division 2 nurse na according to other forum mahirap talaga makakuha ng sponsorship for working. Let's assume na you were able to get an employer after your studies tapos you want to upgrade to a Division 1 nurse, you will still need to enroll in bridging program and pass the IELTS for you to be able to qualify. If you're going to sum it up, this is longer and mas magastos. My POV lang naman. It's still your call though.

@yukishih... thank you po sa pag sagot medyo naliwanagan na ako hehe... ttry ko po yung dueli sa deakin uni magpapa assess ako next week sa IDP... pasensya na po kasi iniisip ko lang din yung gastos and dagdag pa wala pa po ako working experience as a nurse kaya medyo nag aalangan ako baka mahirap maka land ng job after ng program... may tanong po pala ako... yung english course po ba sa deakin kahit anong time ang enrollment or may specific date na mag cocommence lang? ang worry ko kasi baka di ako umabot sa intake ng Dueli... thank you po! 🙂

Reply to @alrakeam_18: Every month meron ang dueli. Im in for sept intake for 10 weeks in Dueli and Bachelor of Nursing on Feb. Paasses ka na asap para makaabot ka if target mo for nursing program is feb. I did it on my own sa Deakin. Try mo apply online para di ka na magbayad ng around 1500 for assessment pa nila. Galingan mo na lang sa school at make a name sa placement para makuha ka ng hospital if magustuhan ka. Yung friend ko andun zero experience pero nakaland ng job. Do you best, be positiveband trust GOD. Hwag ka lang give up agad. Tiis sa umpisa. Yan mga payo ng mga andun na. For sure may hirap talaga pero kaya natin yan!

Gusto ko din mag aral sa australia. may isang australian na gusto ako pag aralin, all expenses paid by her. kaya lng di ko alam san ako mag sisimula. nagrereview na ako for ielts. plan to take the exak this sept, makakahabol pa kaya ako for jan intake

@aizahczarina if sept. ka mag IELTS oo makaka habol ka pa for jan intake since it takes about 3-4 months ang processing from school application to visa application and approval. kung walang maging problem- this is according to IDP ,time frame given to me.. Goodluck! 🙂

yung brother in law ko gusto namin i student din (actually dapat ung sis ko pero tamad mag aral).Registered nurse din sya dyan sa Pinas pero wlang experience, So Im wondering eligible ba sya for conversion program, san ngpapa assess sa AHPRA ba o sa school mismo.

Im planning to support him for the duration of his study,sialng pamilya with 1 yr old baby. Would my payslip and employment details enough as financial documents (dito na ko sa australia)n o kelangan talaga ng amount sa bank?

@gnew1212 thank you. No worries. More than willing to help here. He needs to submit his credentials first sa school tapos school magdetermine how long sya magschool of 1or 2 years. Mag IELTS na din pala sya. I did everything by myself kasi nag agent ako yung ACTEC based in Cebu pero walang nangyari. I even paid my tuition fee pero walang nagmaterialize sa lahat ng pinangako nila. Incompetent sila, inefficient lahat ng in. Hahaha. Pero binalik naman ang pera na binayaran ko. Yun lang nasayang ang oras and yung money ginamit muna yata nila kasi isang taon sa kanila eh. Binalik nila sa amin installment. Buti na lang naibalik. Anyhow, ayun if ikaw magsponsor make sure na meron laman ang account mo ng at least 2.5M. Magbigay ka ng statutory declaration. Ayun. Madali lang sya.

mag a IELTS ulit sya ngayng sept, di kc umabot ung score nya sana makaabot sya sa Feb intake miss ko na kc kapatid ko gusto ko na makasama. Kelangan pla mghanap talaga ng ganung amount, kaya ko lang sagutin ung tuition nya and their living expense but wla akong ganung kalaking acct sa bank. BUt Im looking at Victoria Uni or Ballarat Uni mas mura kc dun kesa sa deakin.

@gnew1212 sa burwood po. Nung una dyan po ako kaso nagpalipat ako kasi mas malapit sa kapatid ko ang burwood. Bale sa VU po ang alam ko 2 years nya kuhanin nursing division 1 na yun. Sa ballarat naman po divison 2 nurse sya don. Sabi po sa bago ngayon na requirements as long as streamlined ka no need na daw yung proof of funds. Sa akin po kasi nagsubmit langa talaga ako. Meron iba hindi na daw hinanapan. Sana makahabol po sya ng feb.

hello all...how is the mode of payment for the tuition and fees? Is it paid as one time payment or installment while you are studying?

@R_Yell one time payment per semester. Some schools you have to pay for the whole year na.

Tanong ko lang sa mga nag-apply sa mga Uni kung hiningan kayo ng Admission Office ng written testimonials from your employer. I am planning to apply sa MBA and they want a testimonial from my employer. How did you proceed with this? Thanks.
