@aranayad hello! yes, it is very much possible. My sponsor is my uncle too. Not a direct uncle pa nga kasi asawa lang siya ng aunt ko whom is the sister of my father. And they are both in US. You just have to prove your relationship to him. I was asked to provide birth and baptismal certs of my dad and aunt. To prove that they are indeed siblings. Then the marriage contract of my aunt and uncle. As for the financial docs, maraming hinihingi. The ITR's, payslips if employed, DTI registration if business owner, bank statements, bank certificates, affidavit of support (to be made by your uncle and should be notarized), and a form from DIBP website which also states your uncle's willingness to sponsor you.
